Stop Motion Barcelona Festival is the first animation festival in Barcelona dedicated to stop-motion, including all his techniques: pixilation, cut out, puppets...

The day of the festival, the films selected will be screened and two prizes will be awarded: the jury and the public .

The festival's day, two awards will be given:

-Prize Jury: statue + animator's kit

-Prize Jury: statue + animator's kit

1. Participants from around the world are welcome.

2. The authors can participate with the number of books they want.

3. Entries must be exclusively of stop motion animation and can be used any of their techniques: pixilation, cut out, claymation …

4. If the movie includes real action, animation should last at least 50% short.

5. The language of the works must be in Spanish or Catalan. In case they are in other languages, they must submit subtitled in Catalan or Spanish.

6. Productions made after January 2013 are supported.

7. Registration of short films will be done through the platform Festhome.com

8. The deadline for the works is the May 31, 2016.

9. The Festival organizers will select the works to enter into competition.

10. The Festival organizers will award the following prizes:

a) Jury Award statuette and equipped with a kit of items for stop motion animation.

b) Audience Award statuette and equipped with a kit of itemsfor stop motion animation.

11. The winners will be announced after the screening of the finalists short films, which will take place in Antic Theatre of Barcelona on June 26, 2016.

12. The organization may use fragments of selected films for the promotion of the festival in different media works.

13. Submission of a work implies the total acceptance of these rules.
