Koshur International Film Festival (KIFF) is a platform dedicated to showcasing powerful cinema from Kashmir, the Himalayan region, and across the world. The festival aims to promote independent films, documentaries, and stories reflecting culture, identity, and human experiences.

The festival is open to filmmakers from around the world, accepting films of all genres including short films, feature films, documentaries, and works highlighting Kashmiri stories and culture;

short films should be up to 30 minutes, feature films above 60 minutes, and documentaries of any duration; films in languages other than english must have english subtitles;

submissions must be made through official online platforms and should be of good viewing quality;

there is no submission fee for entry;

premiere status is not mandatory but preferred;

all entries will be reviewed by a selection committee and the decision of the jury will be final;

selected filmmakers will be notified via email;

by submitting, filmmakers grant the festival the right to screen their films during the event and to use excerpts or trailers for promotional purposes;

entrants must hold all necessary rights to their films and the festival will not be responsible for any copyright issues;

incomplete or non-compliant submissions may be disqualified; and by submitting, participants agree to all the rules and regulations of the festival.
