Molden International Video Art Festival is a cinematic event that will take place at the Centro Cultural Ateca, in Santander (Spain), from May 7 to 8, 2026. The festival welcomes any work related to innovation and artistic creation, and all cinematic genres are accepted.

The aim of the festival is to promote the production and dissemination of works by video creators, both national and international, that encourage positive values and the advancement of art and technology, and that may serve as a point of reference for all kinds of audiences.
The theme is completely open.

1. Short films and feature films of any nationality, any duration, and any genre (dance, performance, music video, documentary, animation, experimental, etc.) may participate. Works that are not in Spanish must include subtitles in English or Spanish.

2. Submission dates and platforms:
The submission period for short films will open on February 9 and will close on March 22, 2026.
Works may be submitted through the Festhome digital platform.

3. Selection:
A selection committee will be responsible for choosing the works to be screened. Selected filmmakers will be asked to provide a screening copy in .mp4 or .mov format, which may be sent through the submission platforms or via a digital download system.

4. Screening rights:
Selected works will grant screening rights exclusively for the dates scheduled for the screenings of the showcase (May 2026). All participating works may be made available to the Demolden Video Project Audiovisual Archive, unless the author does not give consent in the submission form. In such cases, Demolden Video Project reserves the right to reproduce the submitted works, crediting the author, for viewing in media outlets as well as for screenings, strictly for non-commercial use.

5. Acceptance of the regulations:
Submission of works implies acceptance of these regulations.
