As a requirement, it is requested that each short film have an element of earth in some part of the video.

The only prerequisite requested is that the element of earth appear within the video.

This category recognizes audiovisual works that explore the horror genre in any of its forms: psychological, supernatural, experimental, or suspense. The work's ability to generate tension, unsettling atmospheres, and a narrative that emotionally impacts the viewer will be valued.

Submissions must demonstrate creativity in the use of visual, sound, and narrative resources, as well as an effective construction of fear and uncertainty.

This can be represented literally (soil, sand, mud, burials, nature) or symbolically (origin, death, confinement, the earthly realm), playing a relevant role in the development of the story or its visual language.

This category recognizes audiovisual works created by university students, highlighting emerging talent, creativity, and narrative ability within the academic sphere. The originality of the proposal, the use of available resources, and the technical quality in relation to the educational context will be valued.

Proposals must reflect a clear authorial vision, as well as a suitable development of audiovisual language, demonstrating skills in directing, screenwriting, editing, and production.

Special requirement: The short film must significantly incorporate an element of land within the narrative or aesthetics of the piece. This can be represented literally (natural spaces, campus, physical environment, soil, landscapes) or symbolically (roots, formation, identity, growth), and must be a relevant component in the conceptual or visual development of the work.

Esta categoría reconoce obras audiovisuales de larga duración que destaquen por su calidad narrativa, técnica y artística. Se valorará la solidez del guion, la dirección, la construcción de personajes, así como la capacidad de mantener el interés del espectador a lo largo de toda la obra.

Las propuestas podrán pertenecer a cualquier género (ficción, drama, comedia, experimental, entre otros), siempre que demuestren una propuesta cinematográfica coherente, original y de alto nivel.

Creativity, technical quality, visual storytelling, and the ability to convey emotions and ideas through movement and design will be valued.

Submissions must demonstrate mastery of digital tools, as well as a coherent, innovative, and engaging aesthetic.

Special requirement: The animation must significantly incorporate an element of earth within its narrative or visual aesthetic. This can be represented literally (soil, sand, mud, natural landscapes) or symbolically (origin, life, death, connection to nature), and must be a relevant component in the conceptual or visual development of the work.
