ART-KINÉ invites audiovisual filmmakers to submit their short films for inclusion in its general programming. The purpose of this event is to create a space for exhibition, exchange, and connection between the audience and new audiovisual narratives, promoting a diversity of perspectives and formats. This call is exclusively for exhibition purposes (non-competitive).
A digital certificate of participation will be awarded to all short films featured in the official program.
1. Nationality/Residence: International call. Individual or collective works are accepted.
2. Technical Requirements and Requirements for the Works:
Maximum duration of 25 minutes (including credits).
Production date: produced from January 2020 onward.
Genre: Open theme. Fiction and documentary.
Language and subtitles: If the works are not in the official language of the showcase (Spanish), they must include embedded subtitles.
Delivery formats: Required formats for exhibition: AVI / MP4 / MOV, H.264 codec, minimum Full HD 1080p resolution.
3. Registration and Submission of Materials:
Submission VIA the festHOME platform and a password-protected download/viewing link such as Vimeo/Drive.
Cost: Registration is free.
4. Required Documentation:
Completed registration form.
Film stills from the short film (high quality for promotional purposes).
Short synopsis and director’s bio-filmography.
Poster or graphic material (optional).
5. Selection and Notification
Selection committee: The selection will be carried out by the showcase programming team.
Criteria: Technical quality, storytelling, and originality will be evaluated.
Notification: Estimated date on which selected participants will be informed of the results: October 13, 2026 (via email).
6. Copyright and Exhibition Rights
Intellectual property: Participants must declare that they are the legitimate rights holders of the work (including music rights and third-party image rights).
Grant of rights: Registration implies authorization to exhibit the short film within the framework of the showcase on a non-exclusive and non-profit basis.
Use of materials for press: Authorization is required to use excerpts of the short film for promotion of the event on social media or in the press.
7. Recognition:
A certificate or digital certificate of participation will be awarded to all short films included in the official program.
8. Acceptance of the Rules:
The mere submission of the work implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
