The California Independent Film Festival (CAIFF) is one of the most successful and fastest growing film festivals in California. Since its inception in 1997, CAIFF has captured both national and worldwide press. This star-studded event provides both local Bay Area residents and visitors with an opportunity to see world-class films, meet filmmakers from around the world, international celebrities and build exposure for CAIFF corporate sponsors. We invite you to become part of the fastest growing film festival in California.

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE THE DEADLINE YOU ARE PAYING FOR.
You may pay online by credit card, via Festhome, or mail a check or money order payment directly to the festival.

-We prefer online screeners, otherwise please include three (3) DVD copies of your film. For the screenplay competition, please submit an original screenplay in the industry standard format.

Judges
Each year the California Independent Film Festival assembles a wide range of entertainment industry leaders as judges. 2013 Judges, included Pete Crooks, Senior Editor/Writer for Diablo Magazine and Bay Area Film Critic; Sapporo Short Fest Director, Toshi Kubo; Shorty Rossi, star of Animal Planets "Pit Boss"; and Frosene Phillips, restaurant/entertainment columnist for "Bay Area News Group".

Dates and Location
The festival is held annually in San Francisco, Moraga, and Orinda, California.
