Festival start: 10 January 2027      Festival end: 10 January 2027

WSTL is an IMDb-qualifying online festival for short-form work, including webisodes and TV series, in any genre and language, for filmmakers at every career stage. It is presented with DOFIFF.com and the WRPN.TV Entertainment Network, and run by active committee members of UFFO.org, a nonprofit focused on film festival business practices.

Every film is judged on its own merits, not against the other entries. Rejected films receive a letter explaining what held them back, and filmmakers can revise and resubmit for free, so the entry fee works as a development process.

Official Selections and winners can opt into free, ad-free streaming on WRPN.TV. Top winners receive a distributor review from Adler & Associates (established 1999) and partners at no extra cost or contract.

Writers are welcome too: screenplays, teleplays, webisode scripts and novel manuscripts are judged alongside the films. Platinum winners receive a free Judge's Report ($50 value). Rhodium winners (score of 93+) receive a personal introduction to Polaris Pictures and free professional script coverage ($175 value).

This is an online festival with no live screenings. Notification and the online event are on January 10, 2027.

Best of Festival, Best of Show, Outstanding Excellence, Awards of Excellence and Awards of Merit.

Sub-category awards for cinematography, original theme song, script, concept creativity and originality, direction, special effects, research, lead and supporting actor/actress. Winners receive laurels and certificates, and top winners get a distributor review from Adler & Associates at no extra cost. Writers: Platinum script winners receive a free Judge's Report ($50 value);

Rhodium script winners (93+) receive an introduction to Polaris Pictures and free professional script coverage ($175 value).

Online festival for short-form work, including webisodes and TV series, in any genre and language. All entries must be the original work of the entrant(s). Submissions are judged individually, not against each other. Written work must be in English (or with an English translation) in standard industry format (PDF preferred). Rejected films receive a letter explaining what held them back, and filmmakers may revise and resubmit for free. Entrants retain all rights to their work. Judges' decisions are final.

  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
