The theme must focus, from the values ​​of solidarity, tolerance, culture of peace, nature and commitment to gender equality, on ways of life, traditions, trades, crafts, sustainable economy, respect for the environment and living beings, that is, all aspects of the diversity of human culture, with a specific section dealing with issues of the peoples of Siberia and Central Asia.

Cash Prizes: 1,600€

€ 600 and diploma for ferst prize.

CONDITIONS OF THE 2025 COMPETITION

I The eleventh international Ethnographic Minidocumentaries Competition of the CARMEN ARNAU MURO FOUNDATION FOR THE STUDY AND DISSEMINATION OF THE CULTURE OF THE PEOPLES OF SIBERIA AND CENTRAL ASIA, will be held in the ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM of Polán (Toledo) on November 7, 2025

II The theme should be, from values of solidarity, tolerance, culture of the peace and commitment of equal gender, on ways of life, traditions, trades, handicrafts, sustainable economy, respect for the environment and living beings, that is, all aspects of the diversity of human culture, there also been a section specific that deals with issues of the peoples of Siberia and Central Asia.

III The ethnographic mini-documentaries will not be prior to 2021.

IV The maximum duration of each mini-documentary should be 12 minutes.

V To anyone interested in participating in the contest, to register you must choose between one of the following modalities:

a) Register the mini-documentary in MINIDOC VIII through the platforms:

www.festhome.com

b) In case of having the mini-documentary hosted on a Web page, send the corresponding URL through E-mail, to the following email of the Foundation: info@fundacioncarmenarnaumuro.org

c) Send the documentary directly to our foundation.
The documentaries submitted to the contest will only be shown for educational purposes, not for profit, in the museum itself or where the foundation carries out any activity.

VI The originals will be in Spanish, or in any of the other official languages of the Spanish state. In other languages they must be subtitled in Spanish.

VII Each director or producer may submit a maximum of 2 mini-documentaries.

VIII The deadline for submission will be until October 9, 2023.

REGISTRATIONS

IX Contestants will be responsible for the content of the mini-documentaries that submit to the contest, that they will respect the Intellectual Property Law and they will not be affected by any legal claim. In any case, the organization is not done responsible for the content of the mini-papers submitted to the contest.

X The foundation will be responsible for the expenses of stay and maintenance (November 11, 2022) of the winning authors (two people per selected mini-documentary), whose presence will not be mandatory in the delivery of prizes.

XII The prizes will not be cumulative.

XIII The jury, composed of professionals, reserves the right to declare void some of the prizes and their decisions will be unappealable.


GENERAL FEATURES

XIV The foundation is authorized to obtain a copy of all mini-documentaries presented. No reproduction or exhibition will be made for commercial purposes. The unselected mini-documentaries will be used exclusively for cultural use and informative of the foundation. For the mini-documentaries selected to compete, the Organizing commission reserves the right of dissemination, public and private exhibition anywhere in the world by itself, or by third parties with express mention of the author of the documentaries.

XV The situations not foreseen by the present rules will be solved in a unappealable by the organizing committee.

XVI The registration of a mini-documentary corresponds to the acceptance of the conditions of the present BASES, whose interpretation and application corresponds to the organization.
