The FIC·Puebla 2013 will take place from September 27th to October 5th, 2013 in Puebla, Mexico.
CATEGORIES
The FIC·Puebla 2013 program is composed by the following categories:
Official Selection
Free thematic competitive sections divided into the following categories:
• ANIMATION SHORT FILM: Any format films using at least one animation technique.
• FOREIGN SHORT FILM: Film or video productions made in any place of the world.
• FOREIGN DOCUMENTARY: Documentaries of between 30 and 120 minutes, filmed in any film or digital format.
• MEXICAN FILM DEBUT: Long feature films from Mexican filmmakers, produced in digital format.
• MEXICAN DOCUMENTARY: All Mexican documentary productions and co-productions with other countries where its financing is at least 51% Mexican. Length between 30 and 120 minutes, filmed in any film or digital format.
• MEXICAN SHORT FILM: Open for Mexican productions and co-productions with other countries where its financing is at least 51% Mexican.
• PUEBLA SHORT FILM: Open for productions made in the state of Puebla or with a production from Puebla, Mexico.
• INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM DOCUMENTARY: Any kind of format documentaries from Mexico or any place of the world up to 30 minutes.
• F2 (FILMS & FOUNDATIONS) SHORT FILM: New competitive section of the festival in which participate works that contribute to a specific social cause, Ttrino Foundation in 2013 with his work to prevent addiction, eating disorders and self-destructive behavior; will receive works related to the subject that will help contribute to the work of promotion and awareness on this issue.

GENERAL POLICY
I. Free thematic.
II. Duration, short films: 30 minutes maximum, documentary: 120 minutes maximum.
III. Participants must complete the registration process in FESTHOME.
IV. In case the film is SELECTED, you must upload your material at FESTHOME, in case you have not upload it before or have an exhibition copy. All selected participants must upload their films in this system or they will be taken away from the Official Selection of FIC Puebla 2013.
V. More than one production can be registered.
VI. Domestic and International works that completed production after January 1st, 2012 are eligible.
VII. The participant (Director or Producer) in order to perform the registration process must be secured the exhibition rights.
VIII. Once registered, the work cannot be withdrawn. All recorded material will become part of the Historical Archives of the Festival, so no refunds. The Festival has the right to use the material in various forms of media, cultural and reference respecting the authorship of the work.
IX. Works have been exhibited previously in other festivals, public functions, television, DVD, etc.., can participate.
X. Deadline for receipt of entries and materials is July 12, 2013.
XI. The short films and documentaries entries may be part of the Festival´s video library, which is the access of institutions, cultural centers, film societies, to make nonprofit projections, the aim is to promote the dissemination of audiovisual content in schools, public places, film discussion spaces wishing to create new audiences for the Mexican and International film quality (to integrate your film to the library you can sign the authorization letter, download it directly from our website: http:// / www.ficp.mx).
XII. The selected works may agree that their work will be adapted in order to blind people could enjoyed the film in the program “Cine Para Imaginar” (this is possible due to audio descriptions with an off voice that narrates the scene when there’s no dialogue).






  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
