Student Film Festival is a prestigious student event that is internationally renowned for showcasing undiscovered aspiring filmmakers.

We are a film festival, which aims to connect industry all around the world with the best student filmmakers. We reward excellence in student filmmaking from all around the world with awards, prizes, and increased exposure to professional channels resulting in even more professional opportunities.

We're looking to showcase the best films from around the world made by students
Its aims to bring the best student productions from all over the globe and present it to local audience, especially fellow students. The Festival aims to empower developing local film and video industry by opening a window into the works of fellow filmmakers, and to encourage cooperation and development of new ideas and cross-border collaboration in the field of media production.

• • All entries must be original, student created films.

There is no limit to the amount of films that a filmmaker, producer or film school may register.

There is no restriction on the year of production of the film and limitation on duration and entries are open to all International, National, and Regional Films of different tastes & calibers from across the Globe.

Subtitles-
Films can be with dialogues, silent or without dialogues. Films submitted in languages other than Hindi or English must be presented with English subtitles.

• Participants can send multiple entries. However, please submit a separate submission form and entry fee for each film

• Please ensure that you have the permission to enter into the competition and you do not breach any copyright laws and regulations. Any film found to be infringing upon copyright laws would be disqualified.

• Films must be Produced, Directed, Edited or Written by a student.


Eligibility for Selection - The producers of the film and/ or director must have been a student when the film was produced.

Selection -
The Festival is organized by a committee. The festival committee reserve the right to invite films for the competition and program. Screening schedule will be announced after the final submission deadline. The final award winning entries will be selected by a festival jury

Entry Returns -
We do not return submission entries.

Publicity -
We reserve the right to use extracts from submissions for festival publicity and marketing purposes. Press kits are not required, but are useful, so please feel free to send these with your submissions.

Categories -
Short Film, Feature Film, Music Video, Documentary, Screenplay. Please note that if we do not receive enough acceptable submissions for each category, we will merge them e.g. music videos will be moved into short films.




  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
