This initiative is part of the industry program currently being developed by the festival, which will be officially presented next May. Focused on boosting new talent within the fantastic genre, its philosophy is clear: Curtas Mutantes is not a school; it is a gateway to the industry. It is the bridge that allows an emerging screenwriter to have their first professional filming experience with the backing of a production company and an international festival.
2. SCRIPT REQUIREMENTS
Theme: Fantastic Genre. Scripts must fall within the fantastic genre in any of its variants (horror, sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural thriller, etc.).
Duration: The script must be written for a short film with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.

Mandatory Requirement: At least one of the locations must be a recognizable site in Vilagarcía de Arousa.
