KieVino International Short Film Festival offers you the selection of best narrative and animation short films from all over the world. Be the one to experience a unique festival where your films are judged not only by professional international jury, but also by audience in a relaxed festival atmosphere with screenings with wine and cheese in a cosy "Kinopanorama" cinema, the heart of festival life of Kiev and various workshops of both experienced and young filmmakers.
Our festival is a chance for directors from Ukraine and abroad to meet, exchange experience and co-operate in future. We are waiting for your films!
Festival events
The festival will take place on April 15th from 10 a.m. with three worshops in a row which aim to recreate the process of film production - Scripwriting Workshop, Directing Masterclass and Camera work. Later on all the interested filmmakers are welcome to participate in Speeddating with professionals while tasting Ukrainian wine and cheese just before the festival screening.
Jury
Your film is going to be judged by 3 professional International juries and 3 Ukrainian professionals, the selection committee will pre-select 30 films, and the Jury will vote for 12 best ones that will be screened during the festival and eligible for Grand Prix - Kievino Audience Award.
Awards
Submission
The submission is to start on June 28th 2016 and finish on March 15th, 2017. The director’s of the accepted films will be notified of the selection April 1st 2017. The festival will take place on April 8th 2017.

International film submission is open till March 15 , 2017.
Films of various genres and themes are accepted.
Competition is open to International narrative and animated short films.
Filmmakers are welcome to submit only through Festhome.com.
Films must be completed after 1 January, 2014.
The maximum running time is 20 minutes.
Films not in English must be subtitled in English and the dialogue list must be provided after the acceptance.
Films that have broadcast on television or internet prior to the Festival are not eligible for consideration.
Entries must be submitted for pre-screening on Vimeo or YouTube link. If you use a secured link, you are REQUIRED to keep us updated with passwords or your film may be rejected.
There is an entry fee for submission.
