20th LesBiGayTrans Film Fest International in Paraguay

Aireana, a lesbian rights group, organizer of the 20th edition of the LesBiGayTrans International Film Festival of Asunción welcomes you.

Entries may be submitted until May 12, 2024.

JURY and AWARDS

The jury will be composed of specialists in filmmaking, cultural management and LGBTIQ+ activism.

NATIONAL CATEGORY: all Paraguayan productions receive recognition for participating and compete for: Audience Award. Golden Shell Award, which is accompanied by a cash prize.

LesBiGayTrans in 1 Minute Award: new category to encourage the participation of students and film enthusiasts (only for Paraguay). Submit in Reels or TikTok format. The material created must be uploaded on Instagram or TikTok platforms, tagging the accounts: @aireanalaserafina on Instagram and @aireanapy on TikTok.

INTERNATIONAL CATEGORY: International materials compete for the "audience award", recognition will be given to the best short film, feature film and documentary.

This year, the Festival includes a new award: the prize for the most outstanding work with a gender focus.

THEME
Short films, feature films, documentaries and animations with LGBTIQ+ content. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Cross-dresser, Transsexual, Transgender or Intersex.

FORMAT:
MP4 H.264, MOV format, with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 (Full HD) are accepted.
Films in any language are accepted as long as they are subtitled in Spanish. The Festival is not responsible for the translation or subtitling of the participating films.
