EDITA is a festival of short-films with the aim of social transformation through audiovisual creation, encouraging critical thinking, engaging citizens in the promotion of rights and making the viewers feel seen and motivated pursue a social change.

Through this festival, ASAD aims to discover and share new social imaginaries, change the point of view and get closer to non-hegemonetic proposals evoking social justice, human rights, gender equity and environmental sustainability

The awards of the 12th contest social Audiovisual EDITA are:

Jury awards XII Social Audiovisual Contest EDITA2026 for the best short-film, with a price of 400€ in audiovisual equipment, chosen by the winner.

Public awards XII Social Audiovisual Contest EDITA2026 for the best short-film, with a price of 200€ in audiovisual equipment, chosen by the winner.

Public award XII Social Audiovisual Contest EDITA2026 for the best short-film with the category of amateur for local short-films, with a price of 200€ in audiovisual equipment, chosen by the winner.

The competition is defined by individuals and/or collectives who have produced a fiction, documentary and/or animation short-film oriented in the reception of international short-films addressing topics like social justice, gender equity, climate change implications and cultural diversity with a positive perspective highlighting the dignity and social transformation capacity of the people who fight against the injustices.
