1. ORGANIZATION AND PURPOSE

The Social Film Showcase is an annual event organized by Luminiscente Estudio since 2013. Its purpose is to give visibility to audiovisual projects with a clear social commitment, creating a bond between filmmakers, audiences, and organizers through cinema.

The Showcase is not a jury‑based competition; however, the organization awards recognitions based on its own criteria and audience participation (see section 8).

2. DATES AND SCREENING FORMAT

The 11th Social Film Showcase will take place entirely online during the week of November 14–21, 2026, with the following schedule:

• Saturday, November 14 (7:00 PM) – Opening screening open to the general public, with a live presentation and a showcase of selected short films (documentaries are not part of this opening session).
• Monday, November 15 to Friday, November 20 – On‑demand viewing for the general public (free registration) of all selected works (short films and documentaries), plus private sessions for schools and educational centers upon request.
• Saturday, November 21 (7:00 PM) – Live closing ceremony, including viewing statistics and award announcements.
Throughout the week, viewers can leave ratings and vote for their favorite short film (one vote per person, email verification required). Documentaries are not eligible for the Audience Award but are considered for the organization’s awards.
