Chambal International Film Festival Season 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 were grand success.
In Season 1, 316 films from 28 Countries were submitted and 160 films were selected for screening. India’s official entry to Academy awards ‘Harishchandrachi Factory’ (2009) was also screened under special focus in Season 1.

In Season 2, 492 films from 35 Countries were submitted and 243 films were selected for screening. India’s official entry to Academy awards ‘Court’ (2015) was also screened under special focus in Season 2.

In Season 3, 604 films from 40 Countries were submitted and 398 films were selected for screening. India’s official entry to Academy awards ‘Shwaas’ (2004) was also screened under special focus in Season 3.

In Season 4, 701 films from 54 Countries were submitted and 464 films were selected for screening.

In Season 5, 809 films from 63 Countries were submitted and 494 films were selected for screening.

In Season 6, 903 films from 71 Countries were submitted and more than 300 films were selected for screening.

In Season 7, 1007 films from 82 Countries were submitted and more than 250 films were selected for screening. Loksabha Speaker Hon'ble Mr. Om Birla Sir inaugurated the opening ceremony.

Chambal International Film Festival, India is a platform where film makers will get an opportunity to showcase their talent to film loving great audience. Also the audience will get a chance to watch some wonderful short films, documentary films, animation films and music videos of various film makers of the World. The Honorable Jury members Mr. Sayeed Quadri (Renowned Lyricist), Mr. Kshitij Tarey (Famous Singer and Music Composer) and Mr. Ranjan Das (Eminent Editor and Writer) from Indian Film Industry are reputed names. Late Mr. Suresh Naik (Highly Experienced DOP and Special Effect Co- Ordinator) was also a part of the jury.

Awards will be given in Professional and Students category separately.
Student Category Awards- Best Short Film, Best Animation Film, Best Documentary Film, Best Music Video, Best Director (In All Categories).

The festival will take place in Kota, Rajasthan, INDIA.

02.
To the best of the applicant’s Knowledge, all of the details in entry form must be accurate.

03.
The applicant is duly authorized, on his/her behalf and on the behalf of any person or entity that has ownership rights in the work, to submit to the Festival and the applicant declares that this submission is not in violation of any law nor violates any right of said person or entity or that of any third party in any manner whatsoever.

04.
The applicant should ensure that the contact details, address / email shared in the application is correct as it may be used by film festival office for communication.

05.
The submission can be Feature Film, Short Film, Documentary Film, Music Video and Animation Film. The original film may be produced on 35 mm, 16 mm, HD, DIGI BETA, BETA SP, U-MATIC, DV, DVD, but the film must be available for preview purpose for Technical committee, Selection committee and Jury panel.

06.
The film must have been completed after 1 January 2015.

07.
There is no minimum or maximum running time. Films with duration of more than 59 minutes will be considered as Feature Film.

08.
Entries can be PAL or NTSC format. Festival Management will not be responsible if film is not screened due to problem with the format.

09.
The film can be in any language or any genre. All non-English films must have English sub-titles for festival presentation.

10.
Youtube or Vimeo or any other Link (must get downloaded) of the film need to be submitted along with the entry.

11.
Multiple entries can be submitted, but with separate details should be enclosed. Each film is considered as a new entry.

12.
CIFF organization has right to use the Entries / Sent / Selected / Nominated films, and materials from the film for festival promotional purposes and to retain copies of each film as part of festival library.

13.
Awards will only be given when there will be minimum 5 entries in every category.

14.
Films once selected & submitted for final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances until festival is over.

15.
The publicity material (Broacher, Stills, Poster, etc.) and a synopsis of the Feature Film, Short film, Documentary Film, Music Video and Animation Film are to be enclosed with the entry. Entry materials submitted shall not be returned to the entrant.

16.
Transportation and insurance costs of related documents, photographs and publicity materials from the country of origin to the Festival Office shall be borne by the applicant. The festival will not be responsible for the parcel with airport authority of India or Custom department. The custom duties should be paid by Filmmaker/Producers. Entry fee is non-refundable.

17.
The festival will not bear any expenses regarding lodging and boarding of the applicant during festival.

18.
Film should be submitted before deadline. The Chambal International Film Festival is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, postage due, stolen or misappropriated entries.

19.
Entries with incorrect / inadequate / illegible / ambiguous particulars will not be considered. The festival committee reserves the right to accept or refuse any film without assigning any reason whatsoever.

20.
Entries submitted for selection will be considered as final and no changes will be entertained after submission. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to submit entries without any defects.

21.
Winners will be selected by a judging panel of industry professionals consisting of independent producers, production companies, filmmakers, and other film industry professionals who may be substituted at the discretion of the Festival organizers.

22.
No work or artist will be either discriminated or favored by their country of origin, language, age, race, education, gender, ideology, or by their economic resources. Every content, every form, every technique will be admitted with no censorship of any kind.

23.
The decision of selection committee is final and no correspondence will be entertained. Finalists will be notified by email. The Chambal International Film Festival will use its best efforts to announce the selected films, winners at the designated time, but will not be held liable for any unforeseen delays. The list of selected films will be displayed on website and facebook page.

24.
By entering the Chambal International Film Festival, contestants and/or their parents or legal guardian (if such entrant is a minor) agree to accept and be bound by the decisions of the Festival and its judges which are final and binding in all matters.

25.
Festival Authorities reserve the right to accept or reject any film that is likely to offend sentiments, feelings or sensibilities of any caste, community, religion and sector is likely to promote racism or ill will in the society.

26.
The Festival Authorities will have the right to screen the film in different cities of India after the Festival concludes. For promotional / publicity purposes, excerpts from any film entered in the festival may be shown on any Television network / Internet or related media during the festival period.

27.
Entrant agrees to be bound by all terms of these official Festival rules and regulations as established herein. Chambal International Film Festival reserves the right to extend the Festival deadline for any unforeseen reasons if needed. Entry constitutes permission to use winner's name, likeness, and voice for future advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.

28.
Feature Film, Short film, Documentary Film, Music Video and Animation Film that are submitted must be the entrants original work and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.

29.
Contestants agree that they have obtained all required permissions regarding music, sound and/or images presented in your film. By entering the Festival, the entrant agrees that the Chambal International Film Festival will not be held liable for any copyright infringements perpetrated by you or your short film.

30.
The Chambal International Film Festival reserves the right to not screen any film(s) for any reason if deems valid.

31.
The entrants may also run the risk of being prosecuted as per the Indian Criminal Procedure Code and the Indian Media Law for any offence or infringement. Racial, religious and regional discrimination shall not be portrayed in any part of the film being submitted.

32.
Affidavits of winners under 18 years of age at time of award must be countersigned by parent or legal guardian. Affidavits are subject to verification by the Chambal International Film Festival. All the legal issues, if any, shall be under the jurisdiction of Kota Subordinate and Courts only.

33.
Chambal International Film Festival organizing, selection committee members, juries are not allowed to participate in respective festival as a contestant.

34.
Entrants will retain all ownership rights to their films submitted.

35.
The Filmmaker/Producer does not have right to use the name “Chambal International Film Festival” its official Logos, Laurels without prior permission of festival organizers.

36.
If the filmmaker wants to demand something from the festival, then the filmmaker will have to pay the amount of courier/postal charges.
