ARCHÈTIPO Associazione Culturale and
AMICI DI MARCO NOCENTINI, together with the Assessorate to Culture of Comune di Bagno a Ripoli (Fi) and FST Fondazione Sistema Toscana–Area Cinema e Mediateca,
are organizing the nineteenth edition of the Short Film Festival SCHERMI IRREGOLARI,
which will take place at TEATRO COMUNALE di ANTELLA, via Montisoni
10, Bagno a Ripoli (Fi), on Friday March 23rd
2018 at 9.00 p.m.

Cash Prizes: 1,000€

A jury of experts will view the admitted films
and will assign following awards:

PREMIO SCHERMI IRREGOLARI 2018
FOR BEST SHORT FILM: € 500,00

PREMIO MARCO NOCENTINI 2018 FOR BEST EDITING: € 500,00

The jury grants itself the faculty to not assing any award if the submitted films do not fill
the quality standards required.

The award for best short film will be given to the director of the winning short film, the award for best editing will be given to the editor of the winning short film.

If the finalists won’t be attending at the cerimony, they will have to prepare a hand written delegation (complete with all personal
data and regularly signed) that authorizes a given person to receive the award in their place. If either the winner nor a delegate
should be present, the management of the Festival will send the award by postal service, prior telephone agreement.

The management declines any responsability for the missing receiving of the award.

Submissions are allowed for short films
which are no longer then 20 minutes.

The authors can partecipate with more than one film as long as it’s the first time they submit
those works at this Festival.

The Festival includes one single section for fiction short films. Animation films, documentaries, art or music videos are excluded.

Foreign films must have italian subtitles.

The films have to uploaded on an online platform (Vimeo or similar) and the link
(together with the password, if it’s protected)
has to be written in the submission form.

If the film will be selected as one of the finalists or to be shown out of competition, the Festival will require a file with a higher definition.

There is no submission fee.

All short films must be sent together with the
submissions form which must be carefully filled at the e-mail address
schermi.irregolari@archetipoac.it
within January 31st 2018; subject of the mail
must be: “Bando Schermi Irregolari 2018”.

If one of these requirements will be missing, the submission will be denied.
Any attachment to the submission form will not be taken into consideration.

The submitted works will be examined
and selected by the artistic direction of the Festival, who will determine their
admission to the Festival.

The management of the Festival, even though usng the utmost precautions, is in no way responsible for failure sending
submissions form. Thereforit’s highly reccomended to send the submissions e-mails with read receipt requests.

The authors partecipating to the competition authorize the Festival to use the works or part
of them for non remunerative promotional reasons on television or online programs through the release attached to the submission form.

The submission to the Festival means the acceptance of this entire regulation. The
organizing comity will deliberate in any case of controversy or in any matter not included in this regulation.
