Festival start: 23 March 2027      Festival end: 06 April 2027

L’Europe autour de l’Europe - European film Festival Paris will run from the 23rd of March to the 6th of April in Paris and Île-de-France.

Its selection presents art-house and author films produced by the countries of Greater Europe (members of the Council of Europe) focusing on connections between classic European filmmakers and new talents of contemporary cinema. One of the festival's main objectives is strengthening the creative audiovisual industry network across Europe.

In addition to screenings and Q&A with filmmakers, the Festival presents public masterclasses and panel discussions with prestigious guests from Europe.

L'Europe autour de l'Europe is where the new European film meets the European value-keeping cinema.

The authors of the best film in each competition category ( Prix SAUVAGE, Prix PRESENT, Prix SAUVAGE CORTO, Prix LUPETO) are awarded with a Dancing Wolf statuette, the symbol of the Festival.

Prix LUNA is awarded by the jury of cinema students and young professionals to the best film of the feature competition in parallel with the Prix SAUVAGE.

Prix LUPETO is awarded by the jury composed of the students of the European film schools and academies to the best short film in parallel with the Prix CORTO.

We accept submissions of films produced or coproduced by one or more European country (members of the Council of Europe).

- Features (60’ and more) never released in France, produced in 2025 or later.

- Documentaries (60’ and more) produced in 2025 or later.

- Shorts films (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental) up to 30' in length, and have been produced in 2025 or later.

- If you think your film fits our program perfectly but doesn't match the criteria of length and/or year of production, we invite you to submit it for one of our non-competition sections: THEMA, Vie Sauvage or Salon experimental. We will consider it.

Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
