"Andimotion – Bogotá Animation Film Festival" is one of Colombia's and the central region's film festivals specialized in animation as a hybrid form. It creates a platform for the best projects of graduate students and offers opportunities to connect with the animation industry.

Since its first edition in 2016, ANDIMOTION has consistently provided a platform for screening and awarding animated projects across various media, including video games and mixed realities.

Prizes and qualifications

Cash Prizes: 150€

3 awards will be given (first, second and third place) per category and product.

-First Place: Sodexo Trophy and Bonus 300,000 COP -Second Place: Sodexo Trophy and Bonus 200,000 COP

-Third Place: Sodexo Bonus 100,000 COP

-All winners will receive a “Certificate as winners of the category at the event”

-All participants will receive a “Certificate of participation”

Rules

Participation Criteria:

National or international works created between 2023 and 2024 are eligible to participate.

Short films in the "Best Animated Short Film" category must be at least 1 minute long and a maximum of 7 minutes, including credits.

Works with a language other than Spanish must include subtitles in Spanish.

Works can be submitted via Vimeo, YouTube, Sketchfab, or any other streaming platform by providing a password-free link that allows downloads if selected.

Only one work can be submitted per category, and the same work cannot participate in two or more categories.

A single filmmaker can submit different works in various categories.

Filmmakers whose works have been pre-selected will be notified via email.

Submission deadline: Students must submit their works by 11:59 PM on November 5, 2024.

By applying and being selected by the jury, applicants agree to the reproduction rights of the work exclusively for the Andimotion 2024 festival.

Awards:

Three awards will be given (first, second, and third place) per category and work.
