The International Film Festival of MP(IFFMP),Central India’s Biggest Film Festival is being held at Indore,in the state of Madhya Pradesh,India on the 1st,2nd and 3rd February 2019 at the Devi Ahilya University,Takshila Campus Main Auditorium and the EMRC Auditorium at the same campus.

The festival will showcase selected films, Feature (International & Indian),Festival Shorts (less then 20 mins)and Student Films(less then 4 mins).

In the Student Film Section,University Students in India and Abroad can participate with their films.The student films (less then 4mins) should be based on the theme”My Country, My Vision”.Students can also send their short films, less then 20 mins in the Festival Shorts section.”This Special section of our festival is focussed to celebrate their independent spirit in Film making and to encourage and support the work of the young filmmakers by providing them a wider audience and platform”,says Amitabha A Gupta,Festival Director.

The Festival is being managed by AAG Films alonwith NETPAC,as Festival Partner.EMRC(Educational Multimedia Research Centre is a Govt of India Organisation)Indore,is the Event Partner.

The Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) is a worldwide organization of 29 member countries.It was created as the result of a conference on Asian cinema organized by Cinemaya, the Asian Film Quarterly, in New Delhi in 1990 at the instance and with the support of UNESCO, Paris.Headquartered in Singapore,is a pan-Asian film cultural organization involving critics, filmmakers, festival organizers and curators, distributors and exhibitors, as well as film educators. It is considered a leading authority on Asian cinema.

Master Classes will be held on all the 3(three) days of the festival.Master Class on Screenplay and Dialogue writing will be conducted by Mr.Mayank Tewari(Writer of National Award winning film NEWTON,India’s official entry to Oscars 2018).Master Class on Sound Designing and Recording will be conducted by Mr.Nithin Lukose,and FTII alumnus and sound designer of National and Multiple Award winning film THITHI. Master Class on Film making will be conducted by Mr.Pankaj Roay & Ms.Gargi Nandi,Director of Institute of Moving Images,Mumbai-India’s leading Film making school with more then 5000 aluminis.

The Festival has roped in Somnath Gupta,National Award Winning Film Director & Former Jury Member of National Awards to head the Jury for selection of Films & Awards.

Prominent Bollywood(Indian Film Industry based in Mumbai,India) FilmDirectors,Lyrist,Actors,Writers,Models are likely to attend the Festival.

 Terms and Conditions

The following category of films are invited for Selection,Screening & Awards

• Feature Films (more then 60 mins) from any part of the world.
• Festival Shorts (upto 20 mins) from any part of the world.
• Student Films (Upto 4 mins) for University and College Students from any part of the world

 Conditions of Submission

• By submitting the film to IFFMP(by way of onlince screener or physical DVD/Blue Ray) the submitter represents that he/she has obtained consent from the owners of the film to screen the film at IFFMP and that the film is wholly original and is not copied from any source.
• The films should not violate the law of the land and not defame a person and should not in any way infringe on the rights of privacy of any person dead or living.
• The submitter agrees to imdenfy and hold harmless IFFMP, its licensees,successors and assigns from any claim,suit,action or other proceeding brought against due to the exhibition of the film and from any cost,losses,damages including the full legal costs and fees which it may have suffered or incurred or may suffer or incur,directly or indirectly based on,in connection with or arising from the use or exhibition of the film submitted by the submitter.
• IFFMP may at its sole discretion disqualify or reject any submission that it determines is not in compliance in whole or in part with the terms and conditions of the festival.
• Films must be in running length with no interruptions.
• Students submitting their films must enclose a copy of Valid Student ID Card or a letter from the Institute must be attached as proof of current year of study.Any student film entry not complying to the same will be disqualified.The theme for this years Student Film Section is “MY INDIA.MY VISION”
• Incomplete entry forms will not be entertained.Falsification f details could lead to disqualification of entry.
• Films already on social media platforms open for public viewing (You tube,Vimeo etc) will not qualify for screening/selection.
• All non-English speaking films,must be sub-titled in English
• Films must be available,if possible on high quality Blu ray for festival screening.


 Submission Deadlines & Fees

• Last date of submitting films alongwith the Completed Entry form and the Preview Link/DVD is 10TH JANUARY 2019.
• There is NO ENTRE FEE for submitting films.

 Process for Submission

• Films can be submitted by an Online Screener with Password (to be filled in the Entry form) or DVD’s /Blue Ray may be physically sent to the Festival Office. In case the film is submitted by an online screener , soft copies of the following may be sent by email to the email id iffmp2019submissions@gmail.com

a) Scanned copy of the duly filled Entry form alongwith the terms and conditions (signed on all pages).
b) Film Synopisis (less then 150 words).
c) Director’s Bibliography/Filmography(less then 150 words).
d) Vertical format photograph of the Director of the film in JPEG format (min 300 dpi)
e) 4 Stills from the film (min 300 dpi)

• All material being submitted by way of hard copy – Film Synopsis,Director’s Bibliography/Filmography,including the Entry form with terms and conditions must be signed on all pages. The film DVD must be properly labelled mentioning Name of the Film,Contact No,Address of the Film Co/Submitter. The above should be sent to –

• The preview parcel must state clearly in bold letter NO COMMERCIAL VALUE,FOR FESTIVAL PURPOSE ONLY.The festival will not cover any expenses regarding this matter.
• If selected for the festival,applicants may be required to provide publicity material (film poster & a 30 second promo of the film)for the use of the festival


 Selection

• IFFMP will consider for selection purpose,all films submitted within the stipulated deadline and found eligible as per the defined terms and conditions/guidelines.
• All selection decisions will be taken by the Eminent Jury members and will be final and binding on all stake holders and unreviewable.IFFMP will not engage in any communication with the submitters on non-selection of their submitted films nor provide any feedback,comments,process of selections or any other information.
• All selected films will be put up on the IFFMP website and individual applicants will be informed on their designated email Id’s.Physical DVD’s/Blu Ray submitted for selection/exhibition at the festival will not be returned to the submitter by IFFMP.
• IFFMP will have the right to reproduce excerpts of the films selected for screening(upto a max of 10% of the duration of the film),Film stills,as well as synopsis of the selected films for promotional purpose for Print media,Internet,Promotion through FM channels/TV Channels/Theatrical Promos etc
