There are two categories: short advertising and short fiction or documentary. Each team will be formed by a maximum of seven people, and the same team can participate in the two categories if you want. That yes the time for the accomplishment of the short film will be between the day August 26 at 10:00 in the morning and the day 30 at 22:00 at night.

1. Individuals or teams up to a maximum of 7 people can register for the "Valdeorras: cinema denomination" contest.

2. To formalize the registration you must fill out the web form and we will respond with an email confirming the registration.

3. The registration period will be open until August 5, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Once the registration period is over, the organization will contact the representative to inform if he / she has been selected as a participant and give the necessary information for the proper functioning of Valdeorras: Denomination of cinema.

4. There are two types of fiction or documentary and advertising.

In the short film mode you will have total freedom about the genre, theme and post-production of the short, being a fundamental requirement that at least one place in the list of locations in the Valdeorras region appear in the short film, an object and a common phrase for all the teams. The maximum duration is 10 minutes with curtains included both in and out.

In the short film advertising mode, you must include an object, a common phrase for the rest of the teams and at least one location on the list must appear. The maximum duration is 3 minutes with entrance and exit curtains included, which will be available on the web in the downloads section.

5. The object, the phrase and the list of locations will be announced on the 26th at 10:00 in the morning. The place will be notified with the confirmation email of the festival. If no member of the team can attend the presentation, the phrase and the object will be informed through social networks, Instagram, Facebook and through email.

6. A person or team can participate in the short film and advertising mode. Two being the number of jobs that can be delivered, one for each modality.

7. The last day of delivery of the shorts is August 30 at 22:00 through wetransfer, or in person on a pen drive in the house of culture. The delivery format should be mp4 h264 and with a maximum weight of 1GB.

8. All the short films presented will be publicly screened on August 31 along with other parallel activities that will take place at the festival. The deliberation will be in charge of a jury related to the audiovisual sector.

9. The works must be original and unpublished. The organization is not responsible for possible infringements on copyright in which the work may incur

10. Short films can be presented in any language while subtitled in Spanish

11. The awards ceremony will take place on September 1st. The Valdeorras trophy will be awarded with the cinema name and economic prize in its corresponding categories:

12. Those registered in the contest will assign the rights to show the works to the Festival during the dates of completion of the Festival, and after the Festival ends, during at least the following month for the inclusion in the YouTube channel of the Valdeorras Festival: denomination of cinema and the winners give to the organization the rights of public communication and reproduction of the short films made, in a non-exclusive manner, exclusively for promotional purposes of the festival and its sponsors, as well as image rights for one year.

13. The jury may declare one or all of the prizes void and the jury's decision shall be final. The organization may also reserve the right to cancel the participation of the submitted short films that may harm ethically or morally.

14. The organization reserves the right to select as winner of specific prizes those short films that for their technical and artistic quality do not include any point of these bases.
