Festival LGBTIQ+ Amor Es Amor ()

“Amor es Amor” invites filmmakers to participate with their short films in its 3° edition (online).

The festival will accept fiction, documentary and animation LGBTIQA+ short films and that have been produced after January 2018.

The festival will take place in Córdoba, Argentina, from 14 February to 19 February, 2022.

1- The submission to the festival implies total acceptance to the terms and conditions

2- Filmmakers from all around the world can participate

3- The short film submitted must be LGBTIQA+ related and must’ve been produced after January 2018.

4- Each filmmaker can submit a maximum of 3 short films.

5- Participants must pay the registration price (only international categories)

6- The payment must be made when submission is made

7- Each price will depend on its category:

a. Fiction:
- International: 7 dollars
b. Doccumentary:
- International: 7 dollars
c. Animation:
- International: FREE


8- Every fiction and docummentary short film must be over 5 minutes and under 20 minutes. Animated short films must be over 2 minutes and under 20 minutes too.

9 - Submissions will be received from September 8, 2021 until 11:59 p.m. on January 1, 2022.

10- Presentation must be in .mp3. Compression: H.264. Minimum Quality: HD (1280x720). Minimum audio quality: 48 kHz - 16 o 24 bits - Stereo.

11- Films that use pre-existing images and / or sounds will be accepted under the responsibility of the participant, as regards original rights with respect to third parties. The producers of the works will be responsible for claims of any nature that third parties may make regarding their contribution to the production, copyright, inclusion, interpreters, etc.

12- The official selection will remain under the protection of the festival as part of its archive, with the commitment not to use them for profit. Agreeing to this terms and conditions the filmmaker or owner of the short film agrees to let the festival producer’s use it for retrospective projections in the festival’s next editions (always being asked for permission from the festival).

13- Every category will have its own jury members.

14- Each winner, in addition to receiving their corresponding prizes (which will be announced soon), will receive a certificate delivered at the closing of the festival after the award ceremony. In the event that the winner is not present to receive his prize, it may be delivered to a representative or sent by post, in which case the shipping costs are borne by the participant. The organizing committee is not responsible for the loss, breakage or any eventuality that may occur in the shipment or delivery.

15- The organizers may reschedule this festival when unforeseen circumstances justify it.
