REGULATIONS OF MALLU FILM MARKET – SEASON ONE

Please read carefully the Regulations before submission.

A person submitting an entry for the ‘Mallu Film Market – Season One’ means that the submitter has read and agreed with the ‘Regulations of Mallu Film Market – Season One’.

The Film Market showcasing Fiction and Non-Fiction Films including Feature Films, Children’s Films, Short Films, Documentaries, Music Videos, Web Series, Commercial Advertisements, Film Trailers, Film Teasers, Experimental Films etc. These films are in various forms like Animated, Non-Animated and Mixed.


FILM SUBMISSION:

Films produced on any format can be submitted.
All films must carry English Subtitles.
All the films should have a total running time, including front and back credits.
Dubbed/revised/copied version of a film shall not be eligible for entry in the event.
Submitter must be the authorized person of the entry. Submitter is liable to any loss, if the submitter is not an authorized person of the entry.


SUBTITLING:

Films will only be screened in their original language/version with English Subtitles.
Films will not be screened at the event without English subtitles.
Filmmakers may please ensure that sub-titles are clear and readable.
Subtitles should not merge with visuals/background.
It would help selection Committee and jury understand the right context and help evaluate the film better.


ENTRY FEES :

There is no submission fee, registration fee or hidden charges.
Submission Process is 100 % Free of cost.


SELECTION STATUS :

All films which are selected/nominated for the event, will be informed by emails and listed on official website.
The list of selected films will be available on official website from May 26, 2021.
Films once selected & submitted for final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances until the event is over.


WINNERS LIST :

A Jury appointed by Barter Society (India) will select all winners from the selected films.
The list of Award Winning films will be announced on the closing day of the event.

From submissions a selection panel appointed by the organizer will select some films for audience poll and will be listed in www.MalluFilmMarket.com portal during the event period.
Some of the films or all selected films will be screened in our app if needed during the event period.

USE OF THE ENTRY MATERIALS :

Programs composed of films may be circulated after the event for its promotion in India and abroad.
Teasers, Trailers, Posters, Stills from the entry, Photographs of Filmmakers etc. will be used for promotional purposes.

Organizer may store the entry materials in digital storage for hosting purposes.

Organizer may stream the entry materials in their Website or App during the festival period.


ABOUT THE SALE OF FILM AND FILM RIGHTS :
If anybody express their interest to buy a film or film rights, www.MalluFilmMarket.com will connect them with submitter. No commissions needed for that type of sales. Submitter will directly get the 100% of the sale value / royalty if any.

NON SPECIFIED CASES :

The organizer(s), Barter Society (India) or its representative will settle all non specified cases within the terms of the present regulations and may allow special dispensation regarding justified and specific requests.
