Welcome to the KRIBS International Film Festival: - The KRIBS International Film Festival (KIFFEST) is considered to be the grandest MR. K Award for the achievement of a winner in a film industry. Our mission is to discover high quality and ambitious films, to promote the work of filmmakers and to help make their dreams come true. KIFFEST is an exciting event for film lovers and makers alike.

Each month the officially selected winners receives the KIFFEST Logo and Certificate. All finalists’ winners and valuable notes will be listed on our website and shared on our social media.

During the months of August 2021 to July 2022 all winners will automatically be nominated for the prestigious MR. K Awards. In it the annual event screening films will be selected from the list of monthly winners by our annual event jurors. Winners of the competition will receive a Mr. K awards certificate and Shield.

▪ To all the nominated films, we would provide an official selection certificate along with the ‘Official Selection’ laurel.

▪ We would list all the winning films, finalist films, and the nominated films along with the posters on our website and social media pages.

▪ We would list all nominations to a KIFFEST premium section to help the global audience reach and earn monthly through us. Don't hesitate to submit. Every submission will get benefits. You short film will get shared with KIFFEST distribution partners to bring new audience to your film

Please read these Rules & Terms carefully before you submit your film. By submitting your image to the contest, you agree to the following terms. KRIBS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (KIFFEST), you expressly agree that you will be bound by the terms of these.

*We treat every filmmaker equally.

* What we’re looking for? Story-based films, which can be in the form of narrative (fiction), documentary (non-fiction), or animation.

*Multiple entries are allowed from a filmmaker and each entry may be entered in multiple categories.

*Films must be submitted via an online screener ONLY. We do not accept films submitted on DVD.

*All non-English films must have English subtitles otherwise they will be summarily rejected.

*Submitting your film to the KIFFEST is not a guarantee of selection.

*All winners receive a Statuette or free certificate.

We do not accept:

* All submissions must have been released after January 1st, 2000

* Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations

* Films involving politics / films promoting political agenda

* Amateur videos

* Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, video resolution less than 720p HD)

Our monthly events will be screened via online in Chennai and the annual event will be also held in Chennai.

1. Winners of the monthly KIFFEST competition will be nominated for the annual MR. K Award - Best Picture of the Year

2. Your film / project cannot be submitted directly to our film festival without the Festhome.

3. We allow discount for Gold member, Free submission not Allowed

4. A candidate will screen your film and be screened by the KIFFEST Jury but will not be
screened in public.

5. Submitting your film to the KIFFEST is not a guarantee of selection and The KIFFEST reserves the right to refuse entries.

6. The submission fee of a filmmaker will not be refunded if they decide to withdraw the submission. All entrance fees are non-refundable.

7. After a film has been an official selection, the filmmaker will be notified, and eventually the film will be listed on the festival website under Official Selections. The
Official Selection status doesn’t mean that your film will be screened at the festival. It means that your film has been appreciated by our judges of panel and you can use the festival logo on your poster.

8. The KIFFEST will not refund any fees if the filmmaker fails to submit the film in the correct category. Films submitted without the correct fees or proper submission media may be deemed ineligible at the discretion of the KIFFEST executive director. The festival does not cover any of the expenses incurred by the filmmaker.

9. KIFFEST may without advance notice amend these Rules & Terms from time to time. Each and every such amendment shall become effective immediately. It is your responsibility to periodically check for updates of these Rules & Terms.
