For this 3rd edition of Festi’Ciné Junior, we are delighted to continue the adventure and offer you an event entirely dedicated to young audiences’ cinema.

We have designed for you a weekend devoted to short films and documentaries specially created for children.

The Production Ciné Junior Association invites you to come with your family to discover these little films and share warm moments together. We will be delighted to welcome you and experience, by your side, an edition full of emotions and beautiful memories.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the various prize lists.

1. Organization

Production Ciné Junior coordinates the organization of the “Festi’Ciné,” which will take place on June 27–28, 2026, in the Sarthe department, at the Mélusine Hall in Bonnétable.

The Festi’ Junior runs over two days.

Short films under 5 minutes (national selection, self-produced).

Fiction and animated short films from 5 to 30 minutes (national selection, self-produced).

2. Festival Conditions

Festi’ Junior is open to national and self-produced short films in 16/9 or 4/3 format.

It is intended especially for young audiences aged 6 to 14.

Videos and films containing scenes involving drugs, sex, or violence will not be allowed during our event.

School projects from primary and middle schools are welcome.

3. Film Categories

Ciné Tout Court:
Eligible in this category: fiction films, music videos, and animations under 5 minutes.

Ciné Short Films:
Eligible in this category: fiction films, music videos, and animations from 5 to 30 minutes.

Ciné Documentary:
Eligible in this category: reports and documentaries adapted for young audiences aged 6 to 14, from 5 to 30 minutes.

4. Selection

The selection will be announced in early June 2026.

Films that catch the attention of our selection team may be screened as part of our weekend program.

No theme is imposed on participants; they are free to express their creativity.

Films must belong solely to their directors, who must hold all rights to their works.

At least one representative of each selected film must be present during the screening at the Festi’ Junior weekend.

5. Directors and Their Teams

Directors of short films and their teams are warmly welcome.

We offer nearby accommodation including meals, overnight stays, and transport from the train station to the Festi’ Junior venue:

Adults: €90 per person
Children up to 18 years old: €60 per child

6. Submission Deadline

The deadline is set for May 31, 2026.
