Festival start: 26 April 2024      Festival end: 27 April 2024

Prague International Film Awards is Film Festival with live screenings in Prague, in Czech Republic. Our mission and goal is to discover and promote talented filmmakers from all over the world and present their work to public and distributors. The festival wants to present cultural diversity, break down cultural stereotypes and present new talents for the film world.

From 2020, we registered more than 5,000 projects, some of which premiered at the Festival de Cannes, the Sundance Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival or have been awarded and nominated for ACADEMY AWARDS, GOLDEN GLOBES, and BAFTA-winning actors and directors, but most of all, hundreds of films and scripts. An international independent jury works at the festival, composed of judges from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Spain, Japan, Mexico and USA.

Previous winners of our festival are directors such as Morad Mostafa ("HENET WARD", premiered: Clermont Int Film Festival), Molly Manning Walker ("GOOD THANKS, YOU?", premiered: Semaine de la Critique – Cannes), Zachary Woods (“DAVID”, premiered: Festival de Cannes) and others.

The best czech films and international selected selection of films will be screened in Kino Pilotů, The festival is divided into two seasons – summer and winter – the best projects from both seasons will be screened at the festival in April 2024. The screening will take place at the Kino Pilotů Prague, April 26-27, 2024.

The screenplay judge has been at the forefront of competitions such as Finalist Nicholl Fellowship and the Austin Film Festival in 2019. She has written more than 20 feature films in a variety of genres - from drama, comedy, horror, to fantasy. She has worked with an OSCAR WINNING PRODUCER.
