FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL

“Lóstrego” is not just a festival; it is a meeting point for fans, professionals, and enthusiasts of fantastic cinema. We want this festival to be an inclusive and vibrant space where all attendees can enjoy a carefully selected program and participate in various activities and events that we have lovingly and dedicatedly prepared.

- BEST GALLEGO SHORT FILM

- BEST NATIONAL SHORT FILM

- BEST INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM

- SPECIAL AUDIENCE AWARD

A jury selected by the festival will award the prize for the best national and international short film. The public will award, by vote, the special public prize.

The Lóstrego organization will award the prize for the best Galician short film.

OFFICIAL SHORT FILMS

Fiction and animated short films with fantasy, horror or science fiction themes will be accepted, with any production date. The duration of the short films may not exceed 20 minutes and only a maximum of one per director will be admitted to competition, counting in this sum those directed in collaboration with other directors.

Versions:

All participating short films must be submitted in their original version.

Those whose original language is not Spanish must include subtitles in Spanish.

To ensure accessibility and inclusion for all audiences, all short films must include subtitles, regardless of their original language.

subtitles must not be embedded in the screening copy but submitted as a separate file (standard format, such as .srt).

Notice:

The short films selected and awarded during the festival will grant the organization screening rights for a period of one year.

This permission will be used exclusively for screenings in other municipalities and for the organization of small showcases related to the festival, always non-profit and with the aim of promoting and giving visibility to the participating works.

Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
