After the remarkable success of its first edition—streamed worldwide and celebrated for bringing powerful independent voices to a global audience—Zigguart Multimedia is proud to present the 2nd Edition of Zigguart FilmFest, running October 20–31, 2025, from Milan, Italy, and streamed globally via Zigguart TV.

More than just an online festival, Zigguart FilmFest is a professional launchpad for filmmakers aiming to elevate their stories beyond the screen—toward global visibility, professional recognition, and real distribution opportunities.

Officially IMDb-Qualifying Festival
Winning or being nominated at Zigguart FilmFest allows filmmakers to list their award and festival credits on IMDb, joining the global network of officially recognized film events.

Our relationship with filmmakers continues long after the festival ends. Zigguart supports selected films through a comprehensive professional strategy, including:

Creating official Cinando catalog listings and participating in leading international markets such as Marché du Film (Cannes), Ventana Sur (Buenos Aires), and AFM (Los Angeles), where we present films directly to buyers and VOD channels.

Developing a professional promotional catalog page on Zigguart.it to enhance the film’s online visibility and presentation.

Managing and optimizing IMDb, TMDB, and Letterboxd pages, ensuring accurate data, visibility, and discoverability across industry platforms and audiences worldwide.

Cash Prizes: 3,000€

Worldwide Distribution Package (Valued at €1,000):
Winner films will receive international distribution through major platforms. This includes the opportunity to earn monthly viewership royalties and reach a global audience.

Exclusive Post-Production Services for Winner Films (valued at over $5,000):
Includes translations, subtitles, SDH captions (.srt in Italian or English), trailer creation, technical fixes, compression, and projection-ready file finalization. Provided free of charge to all selected winners.

Global Exposure & Audience Engagement:
Winner films will be promoted across Zigguart Multimedia, Zigguart Virtual Art Gallery, and our Instagram and YouTube channels. All selected films will be featured in a 10-day global online screening. Directors and their work gain lasting visibility through our permanent online catalog and curated promotional showcases.

Open to national and international works.

Short films: max duration of 40 minutes.

Feature Films Over 60 Minutes

Documentary films over 15 Minutes

Animation Films - No durations limits

All submissions require English subtitles.

Multiple entries are allowed (with separate registration).

There is no limit to the year of screening, any year is accepted

All fees are non-refundable

Any genre is accepted

The jury may decide to change the entry category of any film if it deems it appropriate.

The decision of the festival selection committee will be final.

The festival authorities will have the right to retain copies of each film and the material send as part of our festival library & can be screened in for
Education, promotion, awareness & commercial purposes.

All selected films receive the Official Laurel of the festival, while winners are honored with a special Winner’s Laurel and Certificate.

Publicity and Media Rights

By submitting to Zigguart FilmFest, filmmakers grant the festival the right to publish and promote selected materials, including posters, still frames, trailers, and official synopses, on the festival’s website and social media platforms during the festival period and its promotional campaign.
