Liberamente Short Selection 4 (4)

Festival start: 15 January 2027      Festival end: 17 January 2027

Liberamente Short Selection is a festival organized and promoted by Liberamente Cavaion APS with the support of Quock Productions and I Guardiani del Moscal. The initiative is sponsored by the Municipality of Cavaion V.se.

The goal is to allow the dissemination of independent short films in our territory, giving visibility to emerging artists and awarding the most deserving individuals.

The fourth edition of the competition will be part of the Liberamente Fil Festival, which will take place on January 15–17, 2027, in Cavaion Veronese.

The event will feature the participation of authors, directors, writers, and musicians.

As in previous editions, the audience will play a key role in awarding the prizes.

Cash Prizes: 200€

The competition is divided into 4 distinct award categories:

- LSS Local: for works in Italian, intended for local creators who are able to attend the screening and awards evening in person.

- LSS Global: for works in foreign languages, intended for creators who can only join the evening via video link.

- LSS Young (NEW for 2027!): A category specifically designed for an 11–14-year-old audience. The jury for this section will consist of students from the G. Fracastoro Middle School in Cavaion Veronese.

- LSS x CATODICO: A separate segment of the competition, with screenings taking place in July during the ART&SOUND event—also held in Cavaion Veronese. This category is dedicated to visual art short films and artistic projects.

The competition follows these rules, depending on the specific category:

- LSS Local: Italian language, maximum duration 20 minutes, open theme;

- LSS Global: Foreign language, maximum duration 15 minutes, open theme;

- LSS Young: Works suitable for an audience aged 10–14, maximum duration 15 minutes;
