The Arara Azul Brazilian Film Festival is a festival dedicated to promoting Brazilian culture and cinema in Italy. It will take place in the beautiful city of Prato, near Florence, a city devoted to art and multiculturalism. It is directed by Anastásia Vulgaris, filmmaker and screenwriter, and by the deputy director Patrizia Morandini, opera singer and vocal coach, both of Brazilian origin.

The selection is open to films, documentaries, short films, and screenplays of any length produced and/or filmed in Brazil and/or dealing with themes related to Brazil. Priority will be given to world, international, and European premieres.

Regulation:

- Finished audiovisual works in any format;

- In the case of registered teams, they must elect only one representative;

- Unfinished works will not be accepted, nor will advertising and/or institutional videos be accepted;

- The selected films must have an accessibility package, complete or containing at least one of the tools;

- Films selected for the competitions of the Arara Azul film festival automatically obtain the release of the rights for screenings during this festival and its route.

- The choice of participating films by the curators will be undeniable;

- The same director can present a maximum of two (02) films to the selection committee;

- A jury made up of experts and professionals will award the prizes.

- The Organizing Committee will indicate the members who will constitute the selection jury (curatorial committee) and the official jury (judging commission) for the competitive exhibitions.

- Participants grant to the Arara azul film festival, without compensation, the right to broadcast the films selected for the festival's public screenings, jury screenings and press screenings, as well as the right to exhibit and/or reproduce material promotional film for press releases.

- The material sent for registration will become part of the Arara azul film festival collection and can be used exclusively for cultural purposes without commercial purposes.

- Directors linked to the organization of the Arara azul film festival will not be able to participate in the competitive screenings of the event.

- The film must contain subtitles in Italian or English.

- Responsibilities of the director.

- By submitting your entry to the festival, the copyright holder of the work expressly represents and warrants that he or she is the owner or possessor of all rights and licenses necessary to view the video, including, but not limited to:

- Rights to use images and sounds of people or things appearing in the work;

- Rights to music used as a soundtrack or ancillary to the film;

- Right to the texts that appear in the video;

- Right to archive the images appearing in the work;

- Right of transmission, exhibition or dissemination in cultural centers, museums and other non-profit cultural institutions, inside and outside Brazil;

- Right to produce Festival catalogs on DVD or formats that can replace it for non-profit cultural dissemination and dissemination;

- Advertising of the festival on open and closed TV, internet, websites, mobile media or any other media; Subject to authorization from the producers of the audiovisual work.

- Or any other copyright that may prevent or infringe the non-commercial display of the work.

- The Festival does not operate with exhibition fees.

- The Festival is competitive in nature.

- Domestic films must have the full accessibility package or at least one tool (sterling, for example)
