The University Film and Audiovisual Showcase (MUCA) enters its third year. This showcase is dedicated to screening and awarding works created by students from all fields related to the audiovisual arts. Held in the city of São Paulo, the event serves as a space for the exchange, exhibition, and premiere of university-produced audiovisual work.
Who can participate?
Undergraduate and graduate students from any field of study at universities in Brazil or anywhere else in the world.
How to apply?
Submissions for MUCA are free of charge and can be made online via the Festhome platform.
Objective
MUCA aims to encourage university-level audiovisual production, discover new talent in Brazilian cinema, and foster the exchange of ideas and experiences among students from across the country.
Dedicated screenings
MUCA will feature dedicated sessions for the screening of short films, music videos, and "nanofilms" (very short-form films).

Short films of all genres—including fiction, documentary, animation, essay films, and experimental works—will be screened. Films must have a maximum duration of 25 minutes.
Music videos
Music videos from all musical genres will be screened. These videos must have a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
