Festival start: 24 October 2025      Festival end: 25 October 2025

Premios CortosFilmes celebrates national and international cinema with the dual objective of recognizing and supporting audiovisual creators and improving the dissemination, knowledge, accessibility, and understanding of socio-labor issues among a broad and diverse audience.

Premios CortosFilmes, National and International Film Festival of Catamarca, is organized by the audiovisual production company Iceland Films (hereafter referred to as the Organizer), with the support of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), and is sponsored by the municipalities of Valle Viejo and Capital.

We also have the support of Sendero Entertainment Records (SER), based in Colombia.

Premios CortosFilmes, FNICC, is an innovative proposal aimed at offering quality entertainment with a social conscience. It provides a clear-eyed and sensitive perspective on the world of work.

The festival will take place in both in-person and virtual formats, allowing filmmakers from diverse regions to participate.

The festival organization in Colombia is managed by Sendero Entertainment Records (SER).

Registration for the festival implies full acceptance of the present rules and terms.

All expenses related to travel, accommodation, and other costs for collecting the awards will be the sole responsibility of the participants.

Once the awards are handed to the winners, neither the festival organization nor the jury will be responsible for what the winners choose to do with the awards received in each winning category.

The awards will be presented during the closing ceremony of the festival, at a time, date, and location to be confirmed via the festival’s social media channels.

The festival does not offer cash prizes, but provides honorary recognitions, which include:

- Honorary Mentions awarded by the jury.

- Official certificates of participation and recognition.

- Official laurels of the festival, available for selected films and winners.

It is a film event based in Argentina and Colombia, dedicated to the promotion and exhibition of independent and professional cinema. Its objective is to recognize the talent of emerging and established filmmakers by offering a space for dissemination and cinematic appreciation.

Registration and participation in the festival implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Productions from any country are accepted.

Films must have subtitles in Spanish or english if the original language is different.

Only films completed after 2021 are accepted.
Unfinished versions (work in progress) are not accepted.

Films that have been commercially distributed on streaming platforms or television before the festival are not eligible for registration.

Each participant may register more than one work, but each registration must be made separately.

Registrations must be made through Festhome.

Late registrations will not be accepted.

An entry fee will be charged.

A curatorial committee and a jury made up of filmmakers, critics, and film experts will evaluate the films.

Evaluation criteria include:

- Originality and creativity
- Narrative and technical quality
- Direction and performances
- Use of cinematic language

The jury's decision will be final and not subject to appeal.

Selected films will receive an official notification, and the list will be published on social media and partner media outlets. Participants authorize the festival to exhibit their works in both in-person and virtual screenings.

Excerpts of up to 3 minutes may be used for promotional purposes.

The organization is not responsible for any copyright infringements. The festival does not offer cash prizes but provides honorary recognitions, including:

- Honorary Mentions awarded by the jury.

- Official certificates of participation and recognition.

- Official laurels of the festival, available for selected films and winners.

The organization reserves the right to modify aspects of the rules if circumstances require it.

Any situation not covered by these rules will be resolved by the organization.

Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
