The Amiens Festival of Film on Affective and Sexual Education (FFEVAS), organized by La Fabrique d’Images, will hold its second edition from May 4 to 7, 2026.
As the first festival in France dedicated to affective and sexual education through cinema, it presents an international selection of short films (fiction, documentary, animation) addressing themes such as consent, gender equality, sexual and gender diversity, sexual health, STI prevention, and the fight against gender-based and sexual violence.

Selected films will be screened before professional juries as well as youth juries. Several awards will be presented.

Cash Prizes: 1,500€

Screenings will take place in various cultural venues across Amiens.

Selected films will form the Official Selection and will be presented in the following categories:

Youth Section (fiction, animation, or documentary)

Middle School Students’ Award: €300

High School Students’ Award: €300

Adults Section (fiction, animation, or documentary)

Jury Prize: €300

Audience Award: €300

Inmates’ Award: €300

Regulations of the Amiens Film Festival on Affective and Sexual Education (FFEVAS) – 2026 Edition
Introduction

The Amiens Film Festival on Affective and Sexual Education (FFEVAS), organized by La Fabrique d’Images, is the first French short film festival dedicated to affective and sexual education.
The second edition will take place in Amiens from May 4 to May 7, 2026.

The festival features an international selection of documentaries and short films addressing topics such as:

sexual diversity,

consent,

STI prevention,

gender identity,

gender equality,

egalitarian relationships.

1. General Conditions

Submissions are open to all national and international short films (fiction, animation, or documentary) related to affective and sexual education.

Each participant may submit several films.

Films may be submitted in any language but must include French subtitles.

The maximum running time of each film must not exceed 22 minutes.

Submissions must be made between October 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.

Required materials in case of selection:

a high-quality copy of the short film,

stills and/or the official poster,

French subtitles for foreign films.

2. Selection and Jury

Selection is carried out by a viewing committee.

A jury composed of professionals from the fields of cinema, education, and sexual health will award the prizes.

The jury’s decisions are final and without appeal.

3. Selection Criteria

Submitted films must:

strictly respect the fundamental rights of every individual,

exclude any discriminatory, offensive, or degrading content,

comply with intellectual property rights.

4. Screenings and awards

Screenings will take place in various cultural venues across Amiens.
Selected films will form the Official Selection and will be presented in the following categories:

Youth Section (fiction, animation, or documentary)

Middle School Students’ Award: €300

High School Students’ Award: €300

Adults Section (fiction, animation, or documentary)

Jury Prize: €300

Audience Award: €300

Inmates’ Award: €300

Special Mentions (without financial reward).

5. Rights and Responsibilities

By submitting a film, authors grant the festival the right to screen their films as part of the event, during the festival retrospective the following weekend, as well as during the FFEAVS Tour 2026.

Selected films may be used for promotional purposes (excerpts up to 30 seconds).

Participants guarantee that they hold the screening rights to their work.

6. Final Provisions

Participation in the festival implies full and unconditional acceptance of these regulations.

The organizers reserve the right to modify the regulations if necessary.

In the event of dispute, only the Court of Amiens shall have jurisdiction.
