By watching films from around the world, we can see, hear, reflect on and experience how love is expressed and how female characters relate sexually and emotionally.
Honouring Sappho's heritage, we ask ourselves as a community what does Sapphic mean today?
We screened during Pride Month in Buenos Aires.

in a Event called #MuestraSaficxs2025 From Novemeber 20th up to 23th 2025

The SÁFICXS International Audiovisual Festival puts on Argentine screens short films made by people who perceive themselves as part of the Lesbian, Transvestite, Trans, Intersex, Non-Binary collective.
We see, listen, reflect and feel from watching on screen how lesbian personalities and characters express themselves and relate to each other.
Honoring the heritage of the poet Sappho, Greek woman inhabitant of the island of Lesbos in the 650th century BC, who with her verses worshiping the Goddess Aphrodite and moved by the beauty of femininity generates the term that names us as a diverse identity even today.
We ask ourselves as a community what does Sapphic mean today?

The screenings of the selected films will take place in Buenos Aires, on Friday 21th and, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd, November 2025, in the context of Pride Month in our city.
