Festival start: 18 September 2025      Festival end: 20 September 2025

From September 18 to 20, 2025, Miramare Castle in Maccarese will host the fourth edition of Cinemagia - cinema damare, an international outdoor film festival dedicated to independent productions. The program includes a selection of films, documentaries, short films, and web series from different countries, with the aim of promoting new authors and encouraging the spread of innovative languages.

The seaside location gives the festival a distinctive character: the screenings take place in an evocative and accessible setting, capable of attracting a diverse audience and, in particular, the younger generations, who are invited to enjoy a cultural experience outside the conventional channels.

Cinemagia - cinema damare is therefore a cultural event that combines the international scope of independent cinema with a participatory formula, strengthening the dialogue between authors and audiences and making a significant contribution to the promotion of new forms of expression.

The jury is composed of:

Ugo di Tullio: jury president
teaches Film Industry Organization and Legislation at the University of Pisa. He is a financial and legal consultant specializing in gap financing in the film industry. He has led Mediateca Toscana Film Commission and has served on the boards of directors of the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Orchestra della Toscana. He has been a speaker at numerous conferences in Italy and abroad. His most recent publications include: "Movie Cluster e
Green Set“ (3rd ed.), ”Hollywood Film Guarantees: the completion bond and the self completion guarantee,“ ”Il Cinepolo green di Napoli,“ and ”Data Business & Social Media." He is currently coordinating a research project already in the experimental phase: a manga that, superimposed transparently on the video, particularly small and non-invasive, translates an already completed film into LIS (Sign Language).

Elly Senger Weiss: Film producer
Nello Pepe: Director

Monica Ciccolini: Board member, Auditorium di Roma

Roberto Bessi: Film producer
