Festival Internacional de Cine de Zacatlán (2)

We invite you to the Second Zacatlán International Film Festival, held in one of Mexico’s most beautiful "Magical Towns." We welcome filmmakers interested in sharing their work with us—and, why not, staying to film here as well. Submitted works will be showcased through community screenings, film clubs, art galleries, and schools.

On this occasion, Argentina will be our guest country.

All participants will receive recognition.

First place winners in each category will receive a handmade statuette bearing the Festival emblem. (Shipping costs will be borne by the winner).

1. Filmmakers from around the world are welcome to participate with projects up to 15 minutes for short films and 120 minutes for feature films.

2. Works must be original and have exhibition rights.

3. Works in any format are welcome, but if selected, conversion to DCP will be required.

4. The material must have subtitles, preferably in Spanish, or failing that, in English.

5. If a selected participant wishes to attend the Festival, they will be provided with assistance to minimize travel, accommodation, and food expenses.

6. The theme is open.

7. The use of AI is permitted.

8. Student works are welcome and will have a special category.

9. This call for entries is launched by Cfilma in Zacatlán, in partnership with CANACINE Puebla Delegation.

10.- As the guest country, projects from Argentina will have their own section.
