LIVE EVENT - LIVE BROADCAST!

After years of planning...MiFA is ready!!

MIFA – Monza International Film Awards is a vibrant celebration of global filmmaking, uniting creativity, artistry, and innovation from every corner of the world. Held annually in the beautiful city of Monza, Italy, and broadcast live worldwide on YouTube, MIFA offers independent filmmakers a powerful platform to be seen, celebrated, and remembered.
Hosted by Mariam Babajide, Frankie Clarence and Tom Harrison Vaughan, with industry professionals presenting each category, the evening promises to be packed with glitz, glamour and abundance of fun.

ABOUT THE MIFA

MIFA is dedicated to championing independent cinema and amplifying visibility for filmmakers and their work. The Monza International Film Awards celebrates storytelling in all its forms — from ambitious features, documentaries, and artistic works. The live Awards Ceremony is held at the historic Teatro Villoresi, where nominated filmmakers, creatives, and film enthusiasts gather with peers and other industry professionals to connect and honor excellence in cinema.

WHY FILMMAKERS SHOULD SUBMIT

MIFA is not just an award — it’s an international showcase and career spotlight. Every selected project receives extensive promotion across MIFA’s platforms before, during, and after the ceremony.
By submitting to MIFA, filmmakers gain:

Global exposure through our live YouTube broadcast, reaching audiences, media, and industry professionals worldwide.

Official recognition with MIFA nominations and laurels that elevate your film’s profile.

Ongoing promotion through interviews, trailers, social features, and post-event content spotlighting nominees and winners.

A handcrafted MIFA Trophy, a symbol of creative excellence, awarded live from Monza.

Continued visibility — MIFA continues to highlight and support winning films and creators throughout the year, ensuring your project stays in the public eye.

AWARDS STRUCTURE

Selection & Nominations: Submitted films are carefully reviewed by our international jury of filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals. Official nominees are announced and featured across MIFA’s digital channels.

Awards Ceremony (Teatro Villoresi, Monza): A prestigious evening celebrating creativity and independent film, attended by nominees, guests, and press. The event is streamed live on YouTube, connecting Monza to a worldwide audience.

Post-Awards Promotion: MIFA continues to showcase winners and selected films through interviews, social media features, and digital spotlights, ensuring lasting visibility long after the event.

THE BENEFIT OF A GLOBAL BROADCAST

By broadcasting the ceremony live on YouTube, MIFA ensures that recognition extends far beyond the venue — every finalist and winner gains access to an international audience in real time. Another key advantage of our live broadcast is inclusivity: it allows those who are unable to attend in person to still be part of the celebration, experience the excitement of the event, and share in the recognition from wherever they are in the world. This digital reach transforms MIFA into a truly borderless celebration of cinema, where filmmakers can share their moment of triumph with collaborators, fans, and supporters around the world.

OUR MISSION

MIFA’s mission is to celebrate creativity, storytelling, and the power of independent film. We believe every filmmaker deserves to be seen — and we work year-round to amplify their voice, connect their stories to new audiences, and honor their artistic achievements.

FROM MONZA TO THE WORLD

Join us for the MIFA Monza International Film Awards, where cinematic dreams meet global recognition. Whether you’re an emerging filmmaker or an established creative voice, MIFA is your stage to shine — live, worldwide, and forever part of a growing international film community.
