The competition consists of two general categories:
Documentaries and Advertising films/scenarios: The documentaries with nonfictional scenarios that hold a different viewpoint about tourism, and the creative advertising films/scenarios fictionalized for promotional purposes will be evaluated in this two-stage competition. The films determined through a preliminary consideration will be evaluated by a jury, and the top three films in both categories will be rewarded. Documentary category will include road films, tourism destinations, cultural heritage and archaeology documentaries, nature and environment documentaries, sports-themed films, and travel programs. Advertising films/scenarios should be related to territorial/regional companies or tourism products. The competing works should include one of the following themes:

Documentary Films:

Tourism destinations,
Cultural heritage and archaeology films,
Types of tourism,
Tourism and environment,
Travel films,
Road movie,
Nature and environment-related documentary films,
Sports-themed films.

Documentary Films Category
The Grand Award: All-inclusive holiday in a five star hotel in Turkey (5 days, 2 persons)
The Second Award: Plaque
The Third Award: Plaque

Information for Application:

The participants may compete in more than one categories with several productions.
Documentary films do not have any time limits. Advertising films should not exceed three minutes.

The documentary films should have been completed before January 1, 2014 and should not have been awarded in any other competitions.

Genuine ideas and creative applications are required for advertising films/scenarios.

The application is free.

The applicant shall cover all shipping fees regarding applications. The committee shall not be responsible for any damages that occur during shipment.

In documentary category, the preview copy should be e-mailed to the committee as a downloadable link through web, or as a Vimeo ling together with its password.

If the film has not been prepared in advertising category, it is required to script and visualize the creative idea as a storyboard or a photoboard.

All material sent for the competing films shall be archived by the competition committee.
Technical Specifications:

In documentary category, the 35 mm and 16 mm films, which have been shot through video technique and digital technology, may apply.

The qualified films for documentary category should be sent to the office as HD videos in best possible quality (with h264 video codec and AAC audio codec mp4 or mov). The English subtitles, the review, and the visual materials related to the film should also be sent digitally.

The qualified films for advertising category should be sent to the office as HD videos in best possible quality (with h264 video codec and AAC audio codec mp4 or mov) and the scenarios should be uploaded to the related link as a Word document, and the storyboard or the photoboard should be uploaded to the website as maximum 3 A3 pages.

Language:
If the original language of the films in documentary category is not English, the previews should include English subtitles.

All qualified films should be presented with their original copies, and the films, of which the original language is not English, should be presented with English subtitles.

If the original language of the films in advertising category is not English, the previews should include English subtitles, if the film has not been shot yet, both the scenario and the storyboard/photoboard should be prepared in both languages (English and Turkish).
