ANDIMOTION - BOGOTÁ UNIVERSITY ANIMATION FESTIVAL stands as one of the premier festivals in COLOMBIA and the region. It's specifically dedicated to animation as a hybrid art form, recognizing the best university and student projects and offering networking opportunities with industry professionals.

Since its first edition in 2016, ANDIMOTION has consistently served as a platform for showcasing and awarding animated projects, expanding to include new formats like video games and mixed realities. The festival also features participation from external national and international audiovisual industry experts.

There will be 4 recognitions awarded per category and product: first, second, and third place, along with a New Talent award. The New Talent awards are reserved solely for high school participants.

-First Place: Sodexo Trophy and Bonus 300,000 COP

-Second Place: Sodexo Trophy and Bonus 200,000 COP

-Third Place: Sodexo Bonus 100,000 COP

-New Talent award Sodexo Trophy and Bonus 300,000 COP

-All winners will receive a “Certificate as winners of the category at the event”

-All participants will receive a “Certificate of participation”

Participation Criteria:

National or international works created between 2024 and 2025 are eligible to participate.

Short films in the "Best Animated Short Film" category must be at least 1 minute long and a maximum of 8 minutes, including credits.

Works with a language other than Spanish must include subtitles in Spanish.

Works can be submitted via Vimeo, YouTube, Sketchfab, or any other streaming platform by providing a password-free link that allows downloads if selected.

Only one work can be submitted per category, and the same work cannot participate in two or more categories.

A single filmmaker can submit different works in various categories.

Filmmakers whose works have been pre-selected will be notified via email.

Submission deadline: Students must submit their works by 11:59 PM on May 31, 2025.

By applying and being selected by the jury, applicants agree to the reproduction rights of the work exclusively for the Andimotion 2025 festival.
