Mogilev State Enterprise «Kinovideoprokat» respectfully informs You that the XXVI International Festival of Animation Films «Animaevka-2024» will be held in Mogilev (The Republic of Belarus).

Over the period of its existence, the Festival has become a holiday of animation for children and adults. There are events in every regional center of Belarus.

There are demonstrations of competitive and out-of-competition programs, creative meetings with the producers of animation films, classes, exhibitions of children’s fine arts and decorative-applied arts for the audience.

The program of the Festival includes:
- contest of animation films;
- contest of children's animation films;
- contest of children’s fine arts and decorative-applied arts.

Animated film competition (age category of contestants from 18 years old) in 13 nominations:
"Best animated film of the festival" (Grand Prix);
"The best experimental animated film";
"The best visual solution of an animated film";
"The best script of an animated film";
"Best Director of an animated film";
"The best sound solution of an animated film";
"Best Debut Animated Film";
"Best Student Animated Film";
"Best Animated film for adults";
"Best Animated film for children";
"Best Animated Series";
"Best Belarusian Animated Film";
"Best Patriotic Animated Film";
14.2. children's animation creativity competition (age category of contestants up to and including 17 years old) in 9 nominations:
"The best animated film created by children";
"The youngest creator of an animated film";
"The best screenwriting";
"The best sound solution of an animated film";
"The most informative animated film";
"The kindest animated film";
"The best Belarusian animated film";
"The best patriotic animated film";
"The best Animated Film Artist"

Conditions of the contest of animation films

1. The film must be created within the last 3 years, including the year of the festival.The film must contain subtitles in English.

2. Evaluation of competitive works is carried out by the jury of the festival according to the following criteria:

- artistic level of animated films;
-originality and content of the plot;
-technical skill;
- moral and aesthetic level.


3. After the closing of the acceptance of applications, the selection of animated films for participation in the competition is carried out by an expert commission, which, after viewing the video materials, decides on nominating candidates for participation in the competition of the festival.

5. Films without an application and materials for the catalog (biography, photo of the director, frames and synopsis in Russian and english of the film in electronic form) are not accepted for participation in the competition.

Conditions of the children's animation competition:

1. Children and young people under the age of 17 inclusive can participate in the competition. The age of participants is determined on the date of the festival.

2. The film must be created within the last 3 years, including the year of the festival.

3. The evaluation of competitive works is carried out by the jury of the festival according to the following criteria:

-the presence and disclosure of the theme of the animated film;
- the originality of the creative concept of the author (group of authors), artistic solution;
- moral and aesthetic level.
