The Berlin Music Video Awards (BMVA) is an international event.

Filmmakers, producers, musicians and directors passionate about the art of music videos. Including full-length screenings, award ceremonies, live shows, workshops and after-parties, the five-day festival will be held at one of Berlin’s major event venues.

Gathering Filmmakers from all over the world, the BMVA is a great opportunity for independent artists and filmmakers to get exposure and to showcase their creativity, while networking with both emerging and established industry professionals.

Not just another film festival.

Launched for the first time in 2013 by events planner Aviel Silook, the Berlin Music Video Awards is an annual independent festival whose influence among the video and music industries in Europe and abroad keeps rising.

The thrilling event provides a platform for talented filmmakers, backing both unknown and famous artists, regardless of the language, genre or origin of their work.

Non-elitist and broad-minded, the BMVA support the diversity and inventiveness of video creators, while promoting their collaboration through networking.

Each category-winner receives a unique Berlin Music Video Awards trophy, as well as attractive prizes courtesy of our sponsors. The winner for the Best Music Video will be announced during the final ceremony on the last night of the festival and awarded with 3,000 euros!!!

- Music videos must have been completed on or after January 1st, 2019.

- Music videos must not be longer than 8 minutes.

- Music videos submitted should not contain any written production credits at the end of video (i.e. credits for the title of song, album, name of label,director = credit roll).

- Only submissions with completed application forms and entry fee will be accepted.

- Filmmakers, producers or musicians submitting videos into the festival must possess all necessary permissions/ rights to submit their video.

- The submitter grants Berlin Music Video Awards the non-exclusive rights to reproduce the video or part of the video and to showcase the video for the purposes of the festival or its promotion.

Please note:

Berlin Music Video Awards do not guarantee submitted music videos will be shortlisted for the festival.

All information posted by Berlin Music Video Awards is subject to change without prior notice.

Music videos should not contain any credit roll (production credits) in the end.

There are no submission fee refunds for the music videos which did not make it into the competition.
