CENTELLES EN CURT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL REGULATIONS
SHORT FILM SCREENPLAY COMPETITION
1. Objective
The FICC opens the screenplay competition with the aim of promoting audiovisual literary creation and supporting new talent in the industry.
2. Participants
Any natural person over 18 years of age may participate, regardless of their nationality.
Works can be submitted individually or collectively (co-authorship).
3. Requirements for the Works
Theme: Free.
Genre: Fiction / Documentary / Animation.
Originality: The screenplay must be original, unproduced, and must not have been filmed or awarded in other competitions before the closing date of this call.
Language: Screenplays will be accepted in Catalan / Spanish.
4. Format and Submission
Screenplays must be submitted following industry standards:
File format: PDF.
Typography: Courier or Courier New, 12-point font.
Pages: A maximum of 15 pages (excluding the title page).
Anonymity: To guarantee impartiality, the document must not contain the author's name. It should only include the title of the screenplay and a pseudonym on the title page.
5. Required Documentation
The submission must include:
Screenplay in PDF (with title and pseudonym).
Plot synopsis (maximum 1 page).
Identification File (Plica - separate document): Containing the title of the work, pseudonym, author's real name, ID/Passport number, phone number, and email address.
Proof of intellectual property registration (optional but recommended).
6. Deadlines
Call for submissions opens: May 20, 2026
Submission deadline: June 20, 2026
Announcement of finalists: July 1, 2026
7. Jury and Verdict
The jury will consist of professionals from the audiovisual and literary sectors.
Originality, dialogue quality, production viability, and narrative structure will be evaluated.
The jury's verdict will be final and binding.
8. Awards
First Prize: Mentorship, Trophy / Diploma.
Runner-up (Accésit): Special mention or minor prize.
9. Copyright
The author retains all rights to their work. The festival reserves the right to publish the title and the author's name in its promotional communications. In the event that the screenplay is produced in the future, a mention of the award in the film's credits will be appreciated (or required).
10. Acceptance of the Rules
Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of these regulations. Any unforeseen matters will be resolved by the festival organization.

Short Film Project Pitching
FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL CENTELLES EN CURT - FICC – Industry Day 2026
The FICC Industry Day opens the call for the Short Film Project Pitching with the aim of boosting the creation, development, and connection between emerging filmmakers and audiovisual industry professionals.
The call is aimed at short film projects in the development phase seeking visibility, advice, and networking opportunities within the framework of the festival.
1. Purpose of the Call
The purpose of this call is to select short film projects to participate in a professional pitching session before a jury made up of film industry professionals.
Selected projects will participate in mentorship activities, professional meetings, and public presentations during the festival's Industry Day.
2. Participants
The following may participate:
Natural persons over 18 years of age
Audiovisual production companies
Film and audiovisual students
Emerging or professional filmmakers
Each participant may submit a maximum of two projects. Participation can be individual or collective.
3. Project Requirements
Projects will be accepted across the following genres:
Fiction
Documentary
Animation
Experimental film
The projects must meet the following requirements:
Be in the development or pre-production phase.
Not have been filmed at the time of submission.
Have a maximum planned duration of 30 minutes.
Hold the corresponding rights to the submitted project.
Accepted languages are: Catalan, Spanish, and French.
4. Required Documentation
Submissions must include the following:
Mandatory:
Completed submission form
Short synopsis (maximum 500 characters)
Long synopsis (maximum 1 page)
Full script or treatment
Artistic and visual dossier of the project
Bio-filmography of the director and/or producer
Photograph of the participant
Optional:
Teaser
Moodboard
Video pitch
Visual reference materials
Note: All documentation must be sent in PDF format.
5. Submission
The submission fee will be €12.
Applications must be submitted through the official festival form within the established period.
The submission deadline is June 20, 2026.
Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
6. Selection Process
A committee made up of audiovisual sector professionals will select the participating projects. The following elements will be highly valued:
Originality and artistic quality
Narrative strength
Production viability
Authorial vision
Potential for festival circulation
Between 5 and 8 projects will be selected. The committee's decision will be final and binding.
7. Pitching Format
Selected participants will take part in a public pitching session during the festival's Industry Day. Each project will have:
7 minutes for presentation
5 minutes for jury questions
Presentations can be made in Catalan, Spanish, or French. The organization will provide a projector, sound, and basic technical support.
8. Professional Activities
Selected projects will be able to participate (predominantly in-person or online) in:
Mentorship sessions
One-to-one meetings
Professional networking
Industry activities scheduled by the festival
The organization reserves the right to modify the schedule.
9. Awards
The jury will grant the following recognition to the participating projects. Awards may consist of audiovisual services or professional consultations:
Best Pitch Award
Industry Award
Special Jury Mention
Awards may be declared void if criteria are not met.
10. Rights and Intellectual Property
Participants fully retain the intellectual property rights to their projects. Participation authorizes the festival to use the project title, synopsis, photographs, and promotional materials solely for communication and cultural dissemination purposes of the festival. In no case will the festival acquire exploitation rights over the submitted works.
11. Data Protection
Personal data provided will be processed exclusively for managing the call and activities linked to the festival, in accordance with current regulations on data protection.
12. Acceptance of the Rules
Participation in this call implies full acceptance of these regulations. Any unforeseen incidents will be resolved by the festival organization.
