International film festival of fiction, animation and documentary short films focused on audiovisual works relating to social inclusion.
We at CINE MOBILE understand social inclusion as those acts contributing to normalize, insert and guarantee, in conditions of equality, the participation in society of people with difficulties, irrespective of whether their difficulties are physical, psychological or social.
We believe there are support tools to fight against inequality and pay attention to diversity. That is the reason why we would like you to help us show these tools and reflect on them during this seventh edition of the CINE MOBILE International Short Film Festival.
The VII International Short Films Festival CINE MOBILE will take place in Seville (Spain) from November to December 2014.

ß BEST FICTION SHORT FILM AWARD: all short films selected for the Fiction Section shall be eligible for this award. Award worth 600€
ß BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT FILM AWARD: all short films selected for the Documentary Section shall be eligible for this award. Award worth 600€
ß BEST ANIMATION SHORT FILM AWARD: all short films selected for the Animation Section shall be eligible for this award. Award worth 600€
Authors shall not compete for more than one of these three awards.
ß CESyA ACCESSIBILITY AWARD – RPD – Awarded by the Spanish Centre for Subtitling and Audio Description (CESyA) – the Royal Board on Disability (Real Patronato de Discapacidad). Consisting of a scholarship for the master “Technology Specialist Subtitling and Audio Description” of the Carlos III University Continuous Training School in Madrid. The scholarship is valued at 2,900 € and allows to follow the on line training for six months. * See special conditions on Spanish document BASES at www.cinemobile.es*
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Any kind of short duration audiovisual work focusing on social inclusion may be submitted, regardless of their genre (fiction, animation, documentary).
The works to be submitted shall meet the following requirements:
• Maximum duration for fiction or animation short films: 20 minutes. Maximum duration for documentaries: 30 minutes.
• Only short films produced after 1 January 2012 shall be eligible.
• Applicants may enter a maximum of 3 short films.
• Applicants must be over 18 years of age.
• The works may be submitted in any language, provided they are subtitled in Spanish.
• Submitted short films may participate in one section only.
• Other festival awarded/projected films are eligible.
• Films submitted to CINE MOBILE previous editions are not eligible.
CONTEST REGISTRATION
• Contest registration is free of charge.
• All applicants must fill in the online registration form available at www.cinemobile.es
• Preview copies must be submitted via the following ways:
1. Online secure screener (on an open or private website that must remain online until the end of selection process). – Links to downloadable files will not be accepted.
2. Through any associated online platform specified on www.cinemobile.es
3. Sending a DVD copy by post or courier service (region 0, PAL) to:

• The Festival organizers will confirm filmmakers their correct application by email once the filled-in online form has been received and the preview copy has been verified.

REGISTRATION SCHEDULE
From June 16th to September 14th
SELECTION
• The selection committee is composed of CINE MOBILE members.
• The ruling of the selection committee shall be subject to no appeal.
• CINE MOBILE organizers shall communicate in good time the selected short film list to their authors by email or publication on www.cinemobile.es
• The Festival organizers reserve the right to relocate any short film on a different category different to the one selected by their author if considered appropriate, having first communicated this decision to the film entitled representative.
• After being selected, authors will be requested to submit the following:
• Spanish subtitled screening copy
• If necessary, the organization may request a dialogue list (.doc, .pdf o .txt) or subtitle file (.srt)
• If necessary, the organization may request a higher quality screening copy: standard digital video format in a DVD copy (Region 0 or 2/PAL) or a high definition copy in Blu-Ray. Digital copies of the films presented in .MOV formats (Prores 444, Prores 422 and H264) or .MP4 (H264) will also be accepted.
• 2 director photographs (high resolution jpg)
• 5 short film stills (high resolution jpg)
• 1 Poster (high quality jpg)
• Director bio-filmography
• Brief synopsis
• Full cast and crew
• Trailer/clips (max. length 3 minutes)

ß Official Jury will be elected by the organization.
ß Prizes may be declared void.
ß Award presentation is subject to the collection in person by the director, producer or an entitled representative of the short film.
ß All monetary awards are subject to the deductions provided by law.
ß Organizers may include new awards in association with new partners joining the festival.
GENERAL INFORMATION
ß All expenses for the transportation and insurance of prints must be covered by the participants.
ß Organization shall not be liable to any accident, damage or loss that short film materials may suffer during submission process.
ß All submitted materials shall remain the property of the organizers as part of the CINE MOBILE archive and they may be used for non-profit purposes. The said materials will become part of the online video library of the "CineMobile" festival hosted at www.cinemobile.es upon authorization by the authors. Organizers will acknowledge their authorship in any case.
ß Selected work authors authorize the organizers to use film trailers or clips (max. length 3 minutes) for promotional and informative purposes.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES
ß The application in CINE MOBILE implies acceptance of all aforementioned rules and regulations.
ß Failure to adhere to the deadlines set out herein may lead to expulsion from the contest.
ß These Rules and Regulations may be modified (applicants will be informed in good time)
