The "CineZ en Talcadáveres" festival is an international event dedicated exclusively to horror, fantasy, and B and Z movies, held annually in the city of Talca, Chile.

Founded in 2014 by film director Vito García Viedma, this festival began as a self-managed initiative to create a space for genre cinema in the Maule Region. The event is notable for:

Specialized Theme: It focuses on subgenres of horror, fantasy, zombies, and low-budget films (B and Z movies).

Independent Nature: It is an independent festival that seeks to promote alternative film culture.

Free Admission: Most of its activities, including screenings, are free and open to the public.

Main Activities: During the festival, various activities take place, including:
Competition and Screenings: Exhibition of feature films and short films, both national and international.

Zombie Walk: A traditional costumed walk where participants stroll through the streets of Talca dressed as zombies.
Z Fair: A space for exchanging and selling items related to horror films and alternative culture.

Training: Talks, discussions, and special premieres with guests from the genre.

*The short films will also be shown on the festival's YouTube channel for the duration of the event, after which they will be deleted. Please keep this in mind when submitting your film.
