Cinematic Luxe Indie Showcase — Fall Fest 26 is a 100% digital, international celebration built to give independent filmmakers more opportunities to have their work seen, discovered, discussed, and recognized. Running November 27–December 9, 2026, Fall Fest 26 brings filmmakers and audiences from around the world together for digital screenings, audience participation, filmmaker recognition, creative awards, community interaction, and the Weekly Cinematic Spotlight.
Our philosophy is simple: independent films deserve more than a submission confirmation they deserve a real opportunity to be seen. Every accepted project receives a digital screening opportunity during the Fall Fest 26 festival cycle, with eligible films also competing for a wide range of awards and special honors.
The festival welcomes short films, feature films, documentaries, animation, student and youth-led projects, international films, and TV/web series episodes, with no premiere requirement.
Accepted filmmakers participate through a FREE CLuxe Filmmaker Pass, while friends, family, fans, and film lovers can join the experience through a FREE CLuxe Audience/Guest Pass. This account-based festival environment helps us better manage screenings, maintain voting integrity, connect audiences with participating filmmakers, and most importantly help protect the filmmakers and the work they have trusted us to showcase.
Fall Fest 26 isn't about forcing hundreds of independent films to compete for one moment of attention. It's about creating multiple opportunities for discovery and celebrating the voices, risks, performances, worlds, and ideas that make independent filmmaking special.
Your film. Your voice. Your spotlight.
At Cinematic Luxe Indie Showcase, winning is meant to be more than a title on a screen. We want filmmakers, directors, actors, and creative teams to leave Fall Fest 26 with recognition they can share, display, promote, learn from, and use when presenting their work to future audiences, collaborators, festivals, and potential investors.
Every official Fall Fest 26 winner will also receive festival analytical data related to their project, when available, giving filmmakers useful insight into how their work performed and connected with the festival audience.

We want Fall Fest 26 to be exciting, language accessible, and filmmaker-friendly not buried in unnecessary red tape. These rules are here to protect the filmmakers, their work, and the integrity of the festival.
1. Eligibility
Cinematic Luxe Indie Showcase — Fall Fest 26 is an international, 100% digital festival open to filmmakers worldwide. No premiere status is required, and previously screened or publicly released projects are welcome unless otherwise stated. Submitted projects must be completed works.
2. FREE CLuxe Account & Film Protection
Accepted filmmakers are required to create or use a FREE CLuxe Filmmaker Pass to participate in designated Fall Fest 26 screenings, voting, filmmaker resources, and festival activities. Friends, family, fans, and general viewers may join through a FREE CLuxe Audience/Guest Pass.
Protecting filmmakers and their work is our #1 priority. Requiring CLuxe accounts helps us create a more controlled festival environment, manage who is accessing festival areas, discourage fraudulent or anonymous activity, protect voting integrity, and provide greater accountability around digital screenings.
While no online platform can guarantee complete protection against unauthorized recording or copying, we believe controlled account access provides a stronger environment than simply placing filmmakers' work on an unrestricted public page. We want you to feel confident sharing your work with the CLuxe community while still allowing audiences around the world to discover it.
3. Your Film Remains Yours
Filmmakers retain ownership and copyright of their projects.
By submitting, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions for the film, including music, performances, footage, images, and other protected material used within it.
Submitting to Cinematic Luxe does not transfer ownership or distribution rights to Cinematic Luxe Media.
4. Festival Screening & Promotion
If accepted, you grant Cinematic Luxe Media limited, non-exclusive permission to screen your project digitally during the Weekly Cinematic Spotlight, Fall Fest 26, and applicable festival screening windows.
You also allow Cinematic Luxe to use your submitted poster, trailer, stills, synopsis, filmmaker name, cast/crew information, and similar promotional materials to promote your film and the festival.
5. Language & Subtitles
Projects may be submitted in any language.
Films containing dialogue primarily in a language other than English must include readable English subtitles.
6. Voting & Fair Participation
Official festival voting must take place through Cinematic Luxe's designated voting system. Filmmakers, cast, crew, producers, and other members of a project's team may not vote for their own film.
Duplicate accounts, automated voting, fraudulent activity, spam, or attempts to manipulate results may result in affected votes being removed and, when necessary, disqualification.
Voting will reset between designated festival rounds.
Additional voting instructions will be provided to accepted filmmakers.
7. Youth, AI & Community Standards
Youth-led and student projects are welcome. Filmmakers under 18 may be required to receive authorization from a parent or legal guardian.
AI-assisted filmmaking tools are permitted when the filmmaker has the legal right to use the material involved and maintains meaningful creative involvement. Material AI use should be disclosed when requested.
Projects and festival participants must also follow applicable Cinematic Luxe community and participation guidelines.
8. Selection & Agreement
Submission does not guarantee acceptance or advancement into later competition rounds.
Filmmakers may submit multiple projects, but each project must be submitted separately. Eligible films may be considered for multiple applicable Fall Fest 26 honors without requiring duplicate submissions for every award.
Cinematic Luxe may make reasonable adjustments to screening schedules, voting windows, programming, or festival activities when necessary. Important changes affecting participating filmmakers will be communicated.
By submitting through Festhome, you acknowledge these rules and agree to create or use your FREE CLuxe Filmmaker Pass if your project is accepted.
