Cine V invites national and international filmmakers to participate in its First Edition to be held in the month of April 2022, in the City of Córdoba, Argentina.

For the selection of works that will be part of CINE V, Argentine and foreign feature films and short films in the documentary, fiction and animation genres will be considered.

A Specialized Selection Committee will choose the films to be screened at the festival, likewise from the official site and on their social networks the list of the chosen films will be shown previously.

12- A jury summoned by the organizing committee will be responsible for the selection of the festival's winning feature films and short films, awarding the following prizes:

Best Fiction Short Film Award
Best Documentary Short Film Award
Best Animation Short Film Award

FEATURE FILMS
Best Fiction Feature Film Award
Best Documentary Feature Award
Best Animated Feature Film Award

Each winner will receive a statuette and certificate delivered at the closing of the festival. In addition to special prizes that will be reported on our social networks. In the event that the winner is not present to receive their prize, it may be delivered to a representative or sent by post, in which case the shipping costs are borne by the participant. The organizing committee is not responsible for the loss, breakage or any eventuality that may occur in the shipment.

1- Filmmakers, students and fans from anywhere in the world can participate in the festival.

2- The audiovisual works must address the following topics:

Veganism
Animal Liberation
Awareness about speciesist practices.
Animal rights

3- It is essential that all films are oriented to form, through respect, awareness, empathy and analysis of the public.

4- Participants must complete the registration form that will be available on the site www.cinev.com.ar or through the platforms:

FestHome

The inscription to the festival implies the full and unconditional acceptance of the present bases and conditions.

5- The works will be received from April 15, 2021 and until 11:59 p.m. on July 15, 2021.

6- Presentation of audiovisual works:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Container file type: MP4 or MOV
Compression: H.264
Minimum resolution: HD (1280x720)
Minimum audio quality: 48 kHz - 16 or 24 bits - Stereo.

7- The works must be sent by email to: cinev.fest@gmail.com through the following digital platforms: a) GoogleDrive (www.google.com/Drive) b) Mega (https://mega.co .nz) c) Dropbox (www.dropbox.com) d) Vimeo (www.vimeo.com). (Works via Wetransfer will not be accepted)

The subject of the email must contain: title / director / duration

8- Works that use pre-existing images and / or sounds will be accepted under the responsibility of the participant, as regards original rights with respect to third parties. The makers of the works will be responsible for claims of any nature that third parties may make regarding their contribution to the production, copyright, inclusion, interpreters, etc.

9- Works whose original language is not Spanish must have subtitles in this language.

10- The selected works will remain under the protection of the festival as part of its archive, with the commitment not to use them for profit. But yes of promotion, retrospectives, samples or special screenings.

13- Participation in the festival is free. The registration fee is:

-15 dollars for international feature films

-7 dollars for international short films


14- A percentage of the proceeds from the inscriptions will be donated to different sanctuaries in Argentina for their support and conservation.

15- Each participant will become an annual sponsor of the beneficiary sanctuaries as part of a plaque of recognition that will appear on their official sites. This mention is optional and is at the discretion of each one.

16- The organizers may suspend, modify and / or cancel this festival when unforeseen circumstances justify it. CINE V will not pay any amount for screening rights for the films selected in competition.
