The Festival is a competition for documentary films from all over Central Asia.
The Festival will give the following awards:
Best Film
Best Director
Best Cinematography
Audience Award (selected by public voting)
The submissions for the competition must be:
features (over 60 minutes) or shorts (less than 40 minutes) filmed either:
- in Central Asia;
- by Central Asian filmmakers, but concerning subjects unrelated to Central Asia;
or
- by filmmakers from other regions, but placed in Central Asia and concerning subjects of relevance to the region.
