16° CONCORSO CORTOMETRAGGI “ilCORTO.it FESTA INTERNAZIONALE di ROMA 2024“ (16)

The non-profit Cultural Association "ilCORTO.it", given the success of the 15 previous editions, both in terms of quality and quantity, organizes the new edition of the Grand Prize Competition "ilCORTO.it INTERNATIONAL ROME FESTIVAL 2024" aimed to Italian and foreign directors and filmmakers, to schools, universities, associations and companies that have produced short films. And to give all talented Directors and Filmmakers the maximum possible visibility, this edition will not only be a Competition but also a Party. In fact, continuing our policy of screening as many of the short films as possible, a technical jury will select them for various events and screenings throughout the year 2024.

Premio al miglior cortometraggio che risponda alla tematica proposta, nella sua più ampia accettazione, nella valorizzazione delle diversità, quindi contro le intolleranze, i pregiudizi ed i luoghi comuni.

♦ MIGLIOR CORTOMETRAGGIO SUL TEMA: "IL LAVORO"
Premio al miglior cortometraggio che affronta il tema del Lavoro che manca,
che è sottopagato e sfruttato, come pure della sicurezza del e sul lavoro.

♦ MIGLIOR CORTOMETRAGGIO SUL TEMA: "MADE IN ITALY"
Premio al miglior cortometraggio che unisce alla sua storia un tema delle eccellenze italiane, trattando del successo della creatività e qualità ed artigianalità italiana.

♦ CORTOMETRAGGI DI ESORDIENTI
- Migliore Regista Esordiente (primo cortometraggio come regista)
- Migliore Sceneggiatura Esordiente (prima sceneggiatura scritta)

♦ MIGLIOR CORTOMETRAGGIO BREVE
Di durata totale inferiore ai 5 minuti

♦ MIGLIOR CORTOMETRAGGIO LUNGO
Di durata superiore ai 30 minuti

♦ MIGLIOR CORTOMETRAGGIO DI SCUOLE DI CINEMA - UNIVERSITA’

Premio al miglior corto realizzato da Studenti iscritti o laureati nell'anno 2023-24 alle Università italiane e a Scuole di cinema italiane, pubbliche o private.

♦ MIGLIORI CORTOMETRAGGI SCOLASTICI
Premi ai migliori cortometraggi realizzati da studenti iscritti nell'anno 2023-24
nelle Scuole italiane Primarie, Secondarie di 1° grado e Secondarie di 2° grado.

♦ MIGLIOR CORTOMETRAGGIO REALIZZATO CON LO SMARTPHONE

Altre sezioni, eventi, proiezioni e premi potranno essere aggiunti successivamente.
E per dare la maggiore visibilità possibile ai cortometraggi inviati, oltre a partecipare al presente Concorso che scade il 30 novembre 2024, una giuria tecnica sceglierà centinaia di cortometraggi per proiezioni nei seguenti eventi:
“Maratonina di Primavera 2024” - “Maratonina d’Estate 2024” - “Maratonina d’Autunno 2024” -
“Maratona di Cortometraggi - Festa Internazionale di Roma 2024”
che si terranno a Roma al Cine-Teatro della FORMA in date che saranno comunicate sul sito www.ILCORTO.EU

Registration is FREE and the final deadline for sending short films for the award ceremony is: Saturday 30 NOVEMBER 2024.

There are 4 sections:

1°) FREE THEME;
2°) Theme: "THE OTHERS";
3°) Theme: "WORK";
4°) Theme: “MADE IN ITALY”.

Each short film must have a maximum duration of 75 minutes, including the opening and closing credits.

Short films by foreign authors, which do not use the Italian language or subtitles in Italian, should preferably be subtitled in English or Spanish. Silent or comprehensible short films are also permitted.

Registration is FREE.
