The Ilerdenca session is part of the CurtÀneu exhibition, International Short Film Festival in the Valls d'Àneu, located in Pallars Sobirà in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees. It is a specific session for productions made by filmmakers from the Lleida region or shot within this territory, with the aim of promoting filmmaker creativity and especially works considered "Opera Prima", in the lands of Ponent.

RULES OF PARTICIPATION FOR THE ILERDENCA SESSION OF CURTÀNEU
The short films submitted must have been shot and/or produced in the counties of Lleida, or directed by a person born in this territory.
This section will form part of the Ilerdenca Session of the Curtàneu Festival.
The festival will take place from November 7 to 15, 2026.
The submission period begins on May 1, 2026 and ends on September 11, 2026.
Technical conditions
The works may be recorded in any digital format.
They may not exceed 15 minutes in length.
Subtitles in Catalan or Spanish will be mandatory if the film has not been edited in either of these languages.
For preselection, registration through the Festhome platform will be required.

General conditions
The festival theme is open. Documentary, fiction, and animation are accepted.
Works from film schools are accepted.
Music videos are accepted.
Videos for commercial or advertising purposes will not be accepted.
Participants shall be solely responsible for ensuring that the film’s participation in Curtàneu does not infringe the rights of third parties. Therefore, the organization declines any responsibility in this regard.
Participants must hold the screening rights and intellectual property rights to the materials provided for their participation in the festival.
By submitting, participants grant the rights for exhibition, whether partial or complete, for the festival’s own promotional purposes, including its traveling screenings. However, no commercial use unrelated to promotion may be made.
Selection
The festival will announce the selected works through the submission platform.
It is recommended that selected works have a representative present on the day of the screening within the Ilerdenca Session.
