Festival start: 04 September 2014      Festival end: 07 September 2014

The nominated director (producer, or another designated representative from the production team) will be invited to Washington, DC to attend a 4-day festival and other related activities including a post-screening Q&A with the audience and filmmakers’ forum and discussion panel. The festival committee will provide accommodation and food subsidies for the duration of DCCFF to the best of its ability. Finalists are independently responsible for obtaining a visa for travel to the U.S. and travel insurance.

Winners will receive a trophy, and possible cash prize.

1. The applicant has read and agreed to the Rules & Guidelines for the 2014 DC Chinese Film Festival submission;
2. The submitted film must not contain illegal content under China and United States laws;
3. The applicant must have authorization from the copyright owner(s) of the submitted film and promotional materials;
4. The applicant is responsible to clear the film from any legal claims, and liable for any expense resulting from such lawsuits.
5. DCCFF reserves the right to modify and offer final explanation to the rules and guidelines.
